The Guys In Spokane Have Been Arrested Charged And Will Be Convicted. The Guys In Baby Case Have

Is the Democratic Party morally superior to Republicans and libertarians?

Democrats like to think they are morally superior because they "care about the poor."  They express their care with sincere words and loving platitudes and then spend someone else's money, e.g., the taxpayer's.  Then they hammer on the taxpayer, telling him he is stingy; they also tell the non-working welfare recipient that everyone else isn't paying their fair share.  Finally, they administer the welfare using underpaid government employees whose first loyalty is to their public employee union. So the net effect of the Democrats' delivery of care for the poor is:An angry giver (the taxpayer); An ungrateful recipient (individuals on public assistance);Disgruntled program administrators (underpaid, unionized public employees); The wrong people taking credit (Democratic politicians). The easiest job in the world is spending someone else's money, and getting paid to do it.  The most arrogant people in the world are those who spend someone else's money yet act as if the generosity was their own -- read Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy, Elizabeth Warren, and Barack Obama here.  In a nutshell, that is why I believe that most bleeding-heart Democratic politicians are hypocrites.  They bask in adulation that they do not deserve.Give me the personal freedom that comes with being a Republican any day.

Which is worse: a 1st or 3rd degree felony? And why?

A first degree felony is the most serious offense. This would include murder, rape, etc. and can be punished by death. There are also “enhancements” that can make a felony more serious. There are “straight” felonies which have prescribed punishment. In these cases It would not depend on the circumstances of the crime. Second and third degree felonies are generally punished by prison terms determined by statutes and judges, and other factors. There can also be fines and restitutions. There are also “wobbler” felonies which can be sentenced as felonies or misdemeanors depending on the circumstances and other factors such as criminal records. which can result in jail time or fines. Some felonies are punished with fines only. Some are punished with prison/jail time and fines. This is just a snapshot. If you have committed a felony, your attorney will know how serious your crime is/was.
