There are a lot of men (not including myself) who are into this sort of thing. You have made it clear that you accepted your boyfriend despite his fetish, which is your choice.This is not the same as accepting that he can act on this at his whim. If a guy told you that he had a kissing fetish, you'd probably think that was normal, right? But if after telling him to stop kissing you, for him to kiss you while you sleep would be abnormal and very creepy! The fact that you said no negates the significance of the actual fetish: he invaded your space and violated your body. It's not the context; it's the fact he did something without your consent that you should worry about. He clearly has issues with self control, and this could manifest itself in other areas. What's it like being a full time housewife? Not making your own money
I went on a vacation where the guy paid for basically everything and tbh that was crappy because money allows you to control situations... And those that have the money / power will naturally use that to get what they want. Having your own money is empowering because then all of your decisions are not based on your need to survive, but rather your desire to do so. Also stuff like house work and the stereo typical woman's role in general is soooo under valued in a lot of cultures. A friend of mine is married and has a kid. Her job of being a mother and a housekeeper is 25/7. I've seen this and I know that I would never ever want to be in such a situation. I have trust issues though and I couldn't depend my entire life on one persons paycheck. It's almost like voluntarily disabling yourself in my opinion. But again, trust issues. I'm sure there are fine people out there who would take care of a woman without any of the bad stuff.

Super attractive guys might actually be less superficial. They already know they can get just about whoever they want. Hot women are chasing them left and right. So they don’t have as much need to validate themselves by coupling with a super attractive woman, as many men do.Meanwhile, consider how easily guys get turned on. The truth is men, sexually, are just not that picky. Consider the right-swipe rate of hot guys on Tinder. It seems, at least to me, that they are actually less picky about attractiveness than hot women. Instead, many prioritize other qualities.Where do I put my credentials? I dated a guy who was 6’4”, looked like Superman (but hotter than any of the actors who have played him), and later signed with Ford Models. He liked that I was smart and funny. He also said I turned him on more than any girl ever even though I’m definitely not as attractive as the women who get cast as his romantic partners in films (he’s an actor). So maybe the women you see as unattractive can really bring it in the sack. Who knows.I was also stumped when my super handsome, 6’4” ex from college married a women not nearly as pretty as I am. Why did he ask to kiss me instead of just doing it?
He asked to kiss you because on some level, he thought it would be a good idea to do that. And one way or another, he put plenty of forethought into that. Those ways look like this: Maybe he's reached the conclusion that it's always a good idea to ask rather than just going for it, either because he wants to avoid awkward misunderstandings or because most girls like it and they tend to think it's a thoughtful and gentlemanly thing to do. And on the other hand, maybe he doesn't do this all the time but he was a little more nervous than usual about kissing you, so he thought about it well in advance and decided this was the best way to make it happen. It sounds like he wasn't just macking on you in the moment. I think he wanted to kiss you for some good length of time prior to that, and that's why he asked first- it sounds like he thought about this well in advance and he wasn't just puckering up on some kind of hormone-driven instinct. I really don't know for sure if he likes you, but I'm thinking probably so. But if you want to be sure, just ask him. Tell him you've liked him for a year, you really enjoyed kissing him and you'd like to do it again sometime (which will predictably lead to him saying "How about right now?"), so take a few minutes to do that.... and then you can talk about some level of commitment to a more exclusive and intimate relationship. I think he'll be up for it.
