The Inversion Hair Method

Does the inversion method work for the hair?

yes but don't do it too long. I'm a girl and my beard won't stop growing

Help with inversion method?!?

I use the inversion hair method and it doesn't really matter whether you're on your period or not, although it wouldn't hurt at all to wait until you're off of it. What I do is heat up coconut or olive oil so it's warm to my finger tips and then massage it into my scalp and flip my hair upside down. For 2 minutes I massage my hair upside down with the oil, then for a minute and a half I just let my hair hang upside down without touching it. The last 30 seconds I massage it again, and then lift my head slowly. You should only do this method for 4 minutes and definitely only once a day. Do this every day for 5 days and then give yourself a 1 or 2 day break. My hair has been growing so fast because of this, so I hope it works for you! :)

Is there any proof that the inversion method for hair works?

Yes it does. It’s one of the primary methods I used to regrow my bald spots a few years ago. Peep my before and after pictures below:Have a look at How to Practice Safe Inversion for Hair Growth.

Inversion method? Greasy hair?!?

I have heard of this method called the Inversion method and this is my 2nd day doing it. I watched a video and the girl said that you wanna massage your scalp and apply some oil onto your roots and then rinse it out in the shower for 7 days. Is this any good? and as I do this I feel like my hair is getting greasier, but I wanna grow my hair out.

How often can I do the inversion method?

Yes, there are serious heath risks to inversion therapy and no, it does not grow your hair faster. Hair growth is regulated by genetics and hanging upside down will not change how your genes make your hair grow -which is universal for all humans at one half to three quarters of an inch a month. Nor will olive oil, coconut oil, argan oil or any oil change the way your genes work and no oil will make you hair grow faster or longer. Some of these oils will make your hair smooth, moisturized and shiny (like argan oil) but they do not make hair grow longer, healthier or faster. Inversion can make some health problems worse and if you have some heart diseases inversion can be deadly. And worse, some of these conditions you don't know you have until your heart is higher than your head -as in inversion.

A healthy diet and healthy lifestyle means your hair will grow at it's genetic best but even diet can't make it grow faster than half and inch to three quarters of an inch a month. Keep your hair safe from damage, don't use flat iron to straighten hair every day, try to keep the blow dryer off your hair, and keep your scalp clean and free of oil, dead skin, sweat and dirt. A healthy, clean scalp grows hair better than a dirty dandruff-y sweaty scalp with follicles clogged with oil, dead skin and dirt.

How often should you do the inversion method for hair growth?

I've done the inversion method earlier, I massaged my hair with it for 4 minutes, then washed it out a couple minutes later. So how long should I wait before doing it again? And also, after massaging how long should I leave the oil in for?

Can you do the inversion method for hair growth with braids in ?

Omg I've tried this! I actually got .75" hair growth in a week. And yeah of course you can, the point is that blood rushes to your head... having braids in makes zero difference

Can the inversion method really make your hair grow 1" in a week?

Short answer- no. Inversion and hair massage just help to increase blood flow and circulation to the scalp. It can probably help a little, but definitely not an inch a week. Hair grows based on genetics, typically an inch every two months for the average person.

Does the inversion method work? (for hair growth)?

So the "inversion method" is putting oil in your hair and like putting your hair down for four minutes and many women on youtube claim your hair will grow a inch in a week. Does it work? Please help:)

Should the inversion method be done both day and night?

The inversion method of what? That’s what I said when I saw the question…After digging around on the net a little, I found out what you’re asking about, but more importantly, a bit of info that may be a little more useful to you.“This is what trichologist Dr. Kari Williams has to say about the inversion method:   ‘Everyone is on the hunt for the newest ‘trick’ to grow hair, when the best ‘trick’ is found in the simplicity of maintaining a healthy lifestyle through regular exercise and a nutrient-rich diet. Healthy hair is a reflection of a healthy body. Increased blood circulation to the scalp can simply be achieved through scalp massages using deep rotary movements. These movements manipulate the tissues in the scalp, which stimulate blood flow, improve cellular functions and cellular regeneration. So you can stand on your head if you want to, but it's not necessary. You can simply massage your scalp and get the same benefits without the possible risks.’”I also saw mention of some experiments on mice, which appear to show some evidence that Dr. Williams has it right. Perhaps this is why I’m not going bald—for most of my life, I’ve massaged my scalp, just because it feels good. My wife has health problems that have caused her to lose a lot of hair a couple of times, so I think I’ll tell her about it.Anyway, just on the face of it, it’s pretty silly to think that turning your head upside down could make a bit of difference. Don’t be silly, just massage your scalp.
