The Last Of Us Is Going To Be A Series

Games Like The Last Of Us?

Recently i played the last of us, and i loved it, i loved everything about it. are there any games like it? I'm not just talking about the whole zombie thing, I'm talking about the look, emotions, gameplay and feel going on in the game. thanks!

What are some games that are like The Last of Us for PCs?

There really isn't any game on any platform I can think of that feels like a close companion to The Last of Us, so I think the best way to answer this question is by considering two aspects of the game: its themes and its design. Some of the most prominent themes in The Last of Us include: the price of survival (as seen in the Fallout and Wasteland series, although Defcon has a lot of similar themes despite being a very different game)how human nature changes in dire circumstances (as in Spec Ops: The Line, the Metro series and Dear Esther; the Dead Space series also did an excellent job of communicating this through its supplemental narrative, like its audio logs and level decoration) the fragility of friendship and alliances in dark times (the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series do this well)the fallibility of human nature in deciding between the needs of the many and the needs of the few (Deus Ex)At the same time, its design borrows a lot from these genres:third-person survival action (Resident Evil 4/5, DayZ)classic survival horror (Amnesia: The Dark Descent, the upcoming Resident Evil HD, a remake of the original)stealth action in a corrupt world with something to protect (Dishonored, the BioShock series, and the Deus Ex series)If I had to name one game that most closely resembles The Last of Us in my mind, it'd be BioShock. They share a lot of mechanics, themes and narrative devices, and TLoU feels to me like a natural continuation of those concepts.

Chapters in the last of us ????

I'm on chapter 5. I just got done the mission where Ellie helps me kill those hunters with the sniper after the hotel. How many chapters are there. Or how many do I have left. Btw GREAT GAME and the multiplayer is actually really fun just sayin.

What are all the similarities between "The Last of Us" and "The Walking Dead"?

I don't mean to imply any of this stuff is copied or ripped off, but I did find myself regularly being reminded of TWD while playing LoU. Take these as just observations of similarities, not judgments.Let's start with the obvious one: the central narrative of both games is about a man with a dark past escorting a young girl through a zombie apocalypse. In both, they are strangers who bond over the course of the story, the girl acting as a surrogate daughter figure for the protagonist. The opening sequence in both games involves a car crashing and flipping over, both of which are escaped via a quicktime event wherein the protagonist kicks out the window with successive hits.Perhaps most remarkably, both games contain a sequence A) inside a walled off safe zone, where B) you're trying to get parts for a car, and so C) you need to sneak into a high school. Incredibly, this town of confluences is named "Crawford" in TWD, and "Redford" in LoU — at least according to a map I found in the game.A major story beat in both games includes a young boy in your group being bitten, and the subsequent grief-induced suicide of their guardian. Both games feature a safe zone constructed inside a sewer system, that the protagonist just happens to chance upon. Both games involve a sequence where people from the group are captured by a group of cannibals, intent on eating the survivors. Both games contain a moment where the girl has to squeeze through a doggie door in order to open a locked door for the protagonist. There was a particular LoU sequence I found evocative of TWD:This sunset-blanketed commercial strip, lined with brick buildings, reminded me of Macon:There's even a building in the same approximate location as the pharmacy with a 45º corner door. An incredibly indirect coincidence this one, but I note it here because my brain/memory wanted to treat them as the same.In both games, survivors utilize the FEMA X graffiti system for marking survivors and supplies in the various buildings (I don't have a shot of it in TWD):There's even a house in LoU that appears to be a conscious nod to Clem's house in TWD:Additional and more convincing details on that house here: The Last of Us - Walking Dead Easter Egg? - Telltale Games Forums

I have a crush in The Last of Us?

Yes! You have said everything I wanted to say.
I am the same age of Ellie and I love her. She is different from other teenage girls, she is brave, strong, mature and beautiful.
The part where I really fell for her was during the winter season stage. Ellie showed care towards Joel and bravery all the way. I wish I could of held her like Joel did when she hacked the guy's head and cried.
Wow, it is good to express my feelings, I will definitly be playing the last of us over and over again to remember Ellie. Excellent performance Ashley Johnson!

I just bought "Last of Us Remastered" I kept hearing the reviews about it. How good is it really?

Hollywood-level acting, cinematography, lighting, writing, and story.Top-tier, AAA-level animations, texture art, 3D models, sound design, level design, and gameplay.Clean UI, satisfying progression, dreadfully-tense scenarios with diverse options in approach, and ultimately an emotional ride that leaves you talking about it when you're done. It's a masterpiece.

The last of us game VS the walking dead TV show!!?

(Spoiler!)....:
The Last of Us's story line is still a cliché???!!!!WTF. obviously you didn’t understand the story AT ALL. Its not about ellie being the cure and you have to deliver her to fireflies. Its not about killing zombies and surviving. Its not even a zombie game as the last of us makers said themselves. The story is about the relationship between ellie and joel that evolves through the game. Its about how this environment will affect the human race that they kill each other for a pair of shoes or even eat each other because of famine. Every character that you see through the game like bill, sam and henry, david and the conversions you have with them is part of the story and the decision that joel make in the end is based on their stories. For example when bill said its normal people that scares me and they are unpredictable I didn’t understand him until I saw david or when henry killed himself after killing his brother in the end ellie and joul was like those two and ellie was like sam to henry and joel wouldn’t let her die because she meant the world to him. When joel hugs ellie after killing david and calling her baby girl like her daughter you understand how much the relationships has evolved. I haven’t seen a movie or a show about the post-apocalyptic that shows humans relationship and behaviors this beautifull.so to call this masterpiece story cliché is ******* stupid.

The Last of Us or Uncharted 3?

I believe the game is called Uncharted 3. Correct me if I'm wrong. Well I previously asked a question about The Last of Us because I was considering buying it in a few days. I told my 13 year old brother this and he said I should spend the money on Uncharted 3 instead. I have no idea what this game is but he says it's pretty awesome. So I need help. Which game do I buy and can someone please explain to me what Uncharted 3 is? I'm a 15 year old girl by the way, really into video games. Which one do you think someone like me would prefer? Or which one do you think is better? Thanks.
