Just a Kid here but my mother brushed her teeth everytime she ate something, and recently she had 13 of her teeth replaced, as in removing the old tooth from the root and inserting brand new artificial enamel! What was wrong you ask? FLOSSING. I swear to god flossing is key to not getting cavities. If you brush your teeth frequently there still are pits that are only available to floss, so remember to floss! RE: Candy is like most food, but to be more specific i would like to point to two candies to avoid, as these gave my friends/family a cavity. #1, Snickers! these brown chocolaty peanut buttery things come off easily when brushing your teeth, but without floss you might not clean all of it off. #2, Skittles! when you crush these sugar buds they tend to stick to your teeth, despite you removing them using your tongue there still tends to be residual sugar, so bacteria could potentially accumulate and erode your enamel. On a closing note I would like to say i don't support snacks between meals, as it disrupts you three standard meals causing you to eat more or less during the set meals, and if you insist on eating candy frequently, please brush after you finish each packet!
