It has been induced by western countries to enter into a democratic mode since 1947 and it believes voting will resolve their problem. While practically, voting cannot resolve any of the below major problems:1. Population explosion--> forced birth control is not democracy2. Women liberation-->most Indian believe no need to do that, and therefore voting against it3. Caste system-->most Indian believe in this and no intention to overthrow it, democracy won4. Here in the U.S., Mississippi and Arkansas would likely be our poorest states. In Europe, Portugal, Poland and Romania are poor. This is changing rapidly, however. In Asia, the majority of the Chinese are poor. There are also many poor people in India, the Philippines and Indonesia.
