The Ring 2 Question .

Two questions about the Nuva Ring.?

I just started this method too and my doctor thoroughly educated me. It's only when you are in your first seven days of using it for the first time ever that you are not fully protected. The next month after your period and you put a new ring in, you're protected. You are also (like the pill) safe to have sex when on your period. When you take the ring out, you're supposed to have a period, so wearing it 3 weeks, having a period, then putting a new ring in, should make you regular like taking the pill in a way also. Mine has been like clockwork so far. Also, I had horrible cramps before, now only mild and very brief like the pill also. Hope that helps! So far this is so much better than injections, patches or pills and better to have a lower amount of estrogen for people who have migraines like me.

How good is the Ring 2? Should I waste my time with it?

I haven't seen 'Alone in the dark' but if you liked The Ring, you will love Ring 2. Still two of the scariest movies I have ever seen in my life.

Lord of the Rings Questions.?

I'm reading the Fellowship of the Ring, I skipped The Hobbit. So, I have a couple of questions that I'm confused about.

1) Why do the Hobbits sing and eat a lot?
2) Where is Frodo going? I know he's trying to destroy the ring but why does he have to go to this place.
3) Do the Riders know that Frodo has the ring?
4) During the chapter of the forest, were the trees trying to trap them? If so, why? Are they alive?
5) What's so amazing about these Elves?
6) What's all this talk of Big People, Hobbits, Wizards? What's the difference between the three?
7) After the chapter of the forest some guy named Tom B. (Can't remember his last name) saved them, is there something wrong with him? He talks like he's been around for a long time... Does he live forever? What about his wife? Is she an elf or..?
8) How come Frodo had to make his leaving the Shire a secret? Or wanted it to be a secret?

No spoilers please! I'm starting to get into the book, finally!. and
I don't want to be spoiled and stop reading. It's starting to get good. ;)

Also, how different from the book is the movie? And do you know where I can watch the movie free and the volume work??;) Thanks

Lord of the Rings question? Fellowship of the Ring or The Two Towers?

Does anyone think that "LotR: The Two Towers" is better than "LotR: Fellowship of the Ring"?

Dont get me wrong, I am a hardcore LotR fan and love all 3 films, but I personally thought that The Two Towers was better than Fellowship of the Ring? I still love Fellowship of the Ring, and am I the only one who thinks that The Two Towers is better out of the two great films? Or is there anyone else?

Is The Ring 2 any good?

In my opinion, I didn't really find it scary, or good, at all. I will admit that there are some parts that are like wtf? However, I don't recommend. I am more of the person who enjoys old classics such as Night of the Demons (Not the one from 2010), The Exorcist, 28 Days Later, and a lot of others. Hope this was helpful!

The Ring 1 and the Ring 2 ??? 10 Points!!!?

to be honest i would probably laugh at first. just because im a horror movie junkie and the ring one was the first scary movie i ever saw when i was in grade 5...so nearly 6 years ago now and i remember me and my best friend freaked out when we saw the girl distorted face for the first time and had to turn the movie off...and ever since the ring has been just a joke to us, the second one was alright as well..first of all red water doesnt seep..its just clear from a well:P ...id probably think it was my best friend dressed up trying to scare me..id tell her to screw off and when i figured out it wasnt her i dunno what i would do try stuffing her in a toilet or something (that kind of has a look like a well lmao) shut the lid and yell the infamous line from the second movie "im not your f**king mommy" ....thats right i acutally put thought into this answer lmao..first of all i wouldnt be stupid enough to watch a movie that could potentially kill me ...if i knew it :P

Has any annotated version of the Lord of the Rings been published, or is such a thing in the works?

I’m not aware of an annotated edition, but if you want the information that annotations might contain, you may want to look into The History of Middle-earth. Volumes 6 through 9 are also titled The History of the Lord of the Rings (VI: The Return of the Shadow, VII: The Treason of Isengard, VIII: The War of the Ring, IX: Sauron Defeated).Be aware that it can be a bit of a slog—there are many repetitions of different drafts of corresponding parts in the narrative, lots of commentary, and many gaps.On the other hand, it shows the fascinating and sometimes rather surprising evolution of the narrative from its early beginnings as a sequel to The Hobbit into the later, greater, epic work that ties hobbits firmly into Arda and the Third Age of Middle-earth. I think this also helps explain the gradual tonal shift in the finished work, which starts out on a very earthy and easy-going level at the beginning of Fellowship and adopts an increasingly lofty, historical tone as the narrative progresses. (It also, in my opinion, fits the subject matter and the experiences of our hobbit protagonists.)But some of the early matter really sounds rather silly to us who are familiar with the finished work. We know that Strider was Aragorn II, heir to kings; but ‘Strider’ was originally ‘Trotter’, a hobbit in wooden shoes! (Except, as I recall, they turn out not to be shoes as such: he had lost his feet to torture of Mordor. A sinister turn in what seems a silly bit of narrative.)I really need to go back and finish those books. I sped through the first five or six but got sidetracked in the middle and never got back. I should be, and am, ashamed.

How was the One Ring from Lord of the Rings made for the movie in the real world?

There were various rings used as props on the set. Both Elijah Wood and Andy Serkis received one from Peter Jackson at the end of filming. There were varied sizes made as well. Sauron's ring in the opening scene is larger, as is the one Boromir saw in the snow when it fell off Frodo during the climb of Caradhras. It was much larger to accommodate for the shot. Close up shots were usually of the larger ring. One ring may also have been magnetized so it could fall on the floor and appear very weighty when Bilbo dropped it at Bag End after his birthday party.Jens Hansen makes and sells movie replica rings and I believe they designed the ring used in the movies, in collaboration with Weta Workshop.

What happens in the ring 2?

Just read about it (below), it isn't as scary or good as the first one
