The Sun Through The Horizontal Blinds Is Producing An Interference Pattern On My Kitchen Cabinets .

The sun through the horizontal blinds is producing an interference pattern on my kitchen cabinets...?

...but I am thoroughly confused by this.

Are photons bouncing all around the room and they are just most likely to be where I am seeing them, and not where I am not seeing them?

Then how does the structure of the eye know which ones to send to the brain, and how does the brain make a picture out of it which resembles what (apparently) I can touch and feel?

Or is the stuff I touch and feel also not really there, and only most likely to be there?

If so, then the blinds which produce the pattern are only most likely to be there, and then are only most likely to produce the pattern which is there but not there because it is only most likely to be there.

This all being based on the apparent fact that the sun is there, but it is not there, because it is only most likely to be there.

Does this mean the sun is everywhere but not likely to be where we do not see it?

Why do flashlights pointing at the same spot not produce an interference pattern?

Prompt: Explain why identical flashlights pointing light onto the same spot on a screen will never produce an interference pattern.

Having some difficulty with this question. All help is appreciated!
