How do I know if someone blocked me from text messaging on their phone?
Generally, you won’t know if someone has blocked SMS messages. The message will send as usual and the recipient’s phone will receive it, but they won’t get notification and it won’t show up with their other messages (most phones store messages from blocked contacts in a separate folder).If you have an iPhone and you iMessage someone who has blocked you, typically the iMessage will fail and your phone will resend the message as an SMS message. A failed iMessage that resends as an SMS is a good sign you’ve been blocked.You could also call the contact in question. Typically a blocked contact’s call is sent to VM after one ring. So if you keep getting VM after one ring, that’s also a good sign that you’ve been blocked.

I have had the same question, so I run several tests forwarding e-mails to different people. What does one grey tick mean in WhatsApp?
One grey tick means that your message was successfully sent, and that it's waiting at WhatsApp's servers to be delivered to the recipient.If it stays at one tick for a longer period of time, this usually means that the recipient is disconnected from the internet and thus can't receive messages.The one tick will turn into two grey ticks once the message is delivered to the recipient (which usually happens immediately after the recipient regains their internet connection).If the recipient has read receipts turned on (on by default), the two grey ticks will turn into two blue ticks once the recipient has read the message.
Can you tell when someone has turned notifications off for your messages on Facebook Messenger?
Yes you are able to do so when you attempt sending the message and are notified that the messaging option for that person has been turned off for you.This means that your friend on FB has gone into their messaging options and selected the wheel icon located in message box with the message/chat history the two of you have exchanged on prior messages or on top of the blank box that pops up when you select their name to start a chat or message (blank because you have never sent or received in the message/chat format) and your friend has selected block message for you. And when they pick that option on the wheel icon you will be notified they have indeed selected that at some point when you attempt to send them a message and are notified the option has been turned of for ...you.
Why do people say texting while driving is so dangerous?
Yeah they should totally teach the proper technique. I bet all of the morons that crash while texting are sitting there staring at their phone, taking 5 minutes to type "will you blow me later?". They obviously were never taught the proper way of doing things. You can text with one hand without even looking at your phone. If you get a text message, it takes a nano second to read it. It takes longer than that to find a good station on the radio. Maybe they should remove radios out of the car, too.
