The Vampire Diaries Do You Think They

Vampire Diaries- How do you become a vampire?

I am reading the first Vampire Diaries book and am at the part when Stefan is telling Elena about Katherine. When Katherine came into Stefan's room, didn't he become a vampire then? After Katherine died, it said that Damon killed Stefan... I don't really understand... so what has to happen in order to become a vampire in the books?

The Vampire Diaries (TV series): What do you think of TVD spin-off 'The Originals'? Is it a good idea?

I think it is a good idea.  This past season, Elena and Stefan and Damon's lives seem to be dependent on the Originals. They were like Bonnie in a way, source of conflict (which is good) but they also tend to become deus ex machina to certain plots. The trio become victimized by plots that originate from the originals, rather than the plot stemming out from the conflict inherent in the trio. Taking the Originals out of the equation refocuses the story on the love triangle. Less on the mythology. And since Klaus cannot be killed (or else the entire vampire line on Mystc Falls die with him) it's kind of organic for Klaus to just leave. The Originals also could provide more adult and more mature plots that VD couldnt touch on. Such as pregnancy.

Tyler is dead in Vampire Diaries. How many of you think that his death is unfair? Is this a fair way to end this character?

I think that Tyler Lockwood overall really got the short end of the stick from the TVD writers. I don’t mean to turn this into a salt-fest, but after Season 4, they practically destroyed his character (and wrote him to have minimal significance) despite the fact they had developed him quite a lot from first season. He was given practically nothing to do, did and said some shitty things despite having changed his ways, etc. Even before, as early as Season 2 and 3 he was constantly being written out and “leaving town”, only to come back when it suited the writers.Of course, they wanted a way to make Tyler’s leave final, so bringing him back for Damon to kill to make everyone hate him again was a win-win situation for the writers - my problem is that in making Tyler just another afterthought and person to kill off to service Damon’s storyline did little justice to his character and shows how little they cared for him.

What should I watch after The Vampire Diaries ends?

Easy call!I presume, you are aware that Current Season 8 (2 Episode aired) is the Final Season of Vampire Diaries. Being a Vampire aficionado I recommend you following TV Series:The Originals (In Fact I like this much more than TVD, really fantastic) The Mikelsons are flawsome.Supernatural: They have included a hell lot of supernatural entities: Witches, Dark spirits,Vampires, Warlock, Half-Humans,Werewolf,Orbs,Doppelgangers blahh, blaah.Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Downloaded just half an hour before so no incites but plot looks appealing.True Blood: Never saw it, but it has secured good rankings at TRP. I hope this helps…Happy Watching!Cheers!

Do YOU think that Twilight Copied off The Vampire Diaries? And I'm meaning books...not the show and movies?

Yeah, I agree that every book is going to show a little similarity to other books, but I personally think that similarities between Twilight and VD is uncanny and a lot of people think so too. Since Vampire plots are really big now since Twilight, pretty much every book shows resemblance to another one. But I'm talking mainly about VD and twilight. Two boys fight over a girl...Two brothers fight over a girl. But Stephanie Meyer didn't just copy off VD, she copied off other books. Any other way, Stephanie Meyer copied off other books to make Twilight.

Do you think the Vampire Diaries ended with a cliffhanger?

No, not really a cliffhanger, They pretty much closed out all their story lines and gave each character the proper close out. But they did leave a window open for Caroline’s character as they were already going to have her appear on the Originals final season the following year. That being said they gave themselves some wiggle room for a little more story to tell with Caroline, so that’s not really a cliffhanger, even if Caroline did not appear on the originals this could have been easily dealt with on the originals with just a few words of something that could occur off screen, so in a way Caroline’s story was closed out nicely. You could say the same thing for Bonnie as she’s still alive and out there and she could make an appearance on the new show Legacies.

What do you think of the Vampire Diaries without Nina Dobrev?

It is better, actually. Nina Dobrev is a lovely actress and played her part perfectly. We came to love and hate Elena, Katherine & the different avatars she took through out the show, because she differentiated the roles very well. But as the seasons piled up, they didn't have much of a story line and broke up Stelena and made Delena , she became a vampire and a lot of such storylines. She was increasingly portrayed as insecure, needy and craving for the impossible. That kinda sucked for all the viewers who came to love her though the years. It is good that she left when she could and remain in our minds as a good character, rather than becoming stale. And The Vampire diaries, without Elena , has been a breath of fresh air. Other characters like Caroline, Bonnie and Enzo have been put to the forefront and they are playing wonderfully. In all, I would say the show is moving in a good direction.

Is the Vampire Diaries (TV) as good as the Originals?

Answer depends on whether you like more romantic stuff or suspense stuff . vampire dairies basically revolve around love story and some suspense . in vampire dairies lot of love stories are going on simultaneously like Caroline's , Elena's , Bonnie's etc . originals is more about suspense , it also have love stories but not that highlighted . the highlight of the originals is Klaus mikaelson . but common thing in both the series is their evil ( not so evil) character Klaus( originals) and Damon(vampire dairies) . they both are just awesome .their dialogue delivery and their fearless attitude are just great . when any of them does something good (apart from their reputation of evilness) it feels great . don't compare them, both are awesome in their own way . if you are a vampire lover than these are the best TV series available on this universe . do watch both of them , you will definitely enjoy .

Since Vampire in’s The Vampire Diaries can rip out hearts, snap necks and decapitate human beings with a single swipe of the hand then how many tons do you think they could lift?

With sharp enough fingernails even a normal human can accomplish these feats but, a vampire with their super human abilities can accomplish these things much easier, and they grow stronger with age. So even a base Vampire could flip a car, Stephan & Damon could lift a car, Katherine could probably toss a small car, and then there are The Originals who are strong enough to throw trucks a considerable distance. Klaus was even more powerful than the rest of his family because of his hybrid nature if he went all out I think that guy could toss a small home
