Years ago, I worked in a very famous east coast teaching hospital on one of their more infamous floors. It was the FIRST floor, which complicated things a lot. We had two rooms — the “large ward” with sixteen beds laid out four to a wall, and a “small ward” with fourteen beds in a circle, separated only by a curtain. Staffing was, to put it tactfully, “tight.” There were two nurses at night, one for each ward and anywhere from one to three aides, shared between the nurses. If you had the small ward and there was only one aide, you were on your own.There was a hooker than wandered in every Tuesday evening to “service” the male patients that were there long term. (And some were there up to a year, waiting for a nursing home bed or for social services to find them a place as they were homeless.). I believe the going rate was $2 for a blowjob and $5 for intercourse. The first time I heard a commotion from behind the curtain and whipped it aside to make sure my patient wasn’t having a seizure or something, I was floored. The aide that was working with me just told me what was what and advised forgetting what I had seen.One night, a drug dealer climbed in the window and forced the nurse with the narcotics keys to let him have the narcotics. Windu is a comparatively more powerful and aggressive duelist. Yoda is skilled and agile but is more balanced with offence and defense, but not too strong on both.Windu considered Palpatine too dangerous to be kept alive, Yoda would try to defeat and disarm him but not kill.The biggest change would be the scene that Anakin walks into. Anakin was troubled still at the moment. He hasn't fallen into the Dark side yet. He was still distrustful of the Jedi but at the moment, feared Palpatine as the Sith Lord. He wanted to do the "right thing" and report Palpatine as a Sith. He also wanted Palpatine to stand trial for his crimes and not be murdered/executed.Scenario A:Yoda still bests Palpatine in the battle. Palpatine in on the ground and disarmed. Anakin comes in.Yoda: Stay in the temple, I told you, young Skywalker.Anakin: I am sorry, Master Yoda. I feared you might needed my help.Palpatine: Look they are going to kill me! The Jedi are evil! Help me Anakin!Yoda: Kill you I will not! Stand trial before the council and Senate, you will.Anakin: You have decieved me all this time. The Jedi are not evil. You are!Yoda: Call for other masters, Skywalker. Guard the Chancellor here, I shall.*pause*Yoda: Troubled thoughts I sense. Discussion in private, I consider.Anakin: Yes Master Yoda. Palpatine is unleashing a huge barrage of force lightning on the defensive and weakened Yoda. Anakin comes in.Palpatine: Look they were going to kill me! The Jedi are evil!Anakin: ...Palpatine: We must eliminate them and restore peace and order to the Republic. Help me Anakin!Anakin: ...Yoda: Look inside you, young Skywalker. Believe in the force, you must. Do not give in to the Dark Side.Anakin: ...Palpatine: Lies...
