There Is A Line From A Movie Or Tv Show Where A Guy Says To A Bitchy Girl

If there were an Emmy for "Best Line in a TV series", which line would win it?

Edit 1 - Previously, the question was, 'If there was an Oscar Awards for "Best Line in a TV series", which line would you give it?"Few of them answered this question like hitting the last nail of the coffin. I Like it!!Let me try mine... Peter Dinklage (actor) pulled off the entire potential of this dialogue. The arrangement of words justified his character in few sentences. He says, he's a dwarf, he would've been dead if he's not a Lannister. He also says that, his brother has great skills when it comes to sword and he would definitely save himself. He's clear about the fact that, his Wisdom and knowledge would equally protect him like Sword and Shield. Here's the dialogue.GAME OF THRONES - 'THE KINGSROAD'Season #1, 2nd EpisodeJon Snow: Why do you read so much? Tyrion Lannister: Look at me and tell me what you see. Jon Snow: Is this a trick? Tyrion Lannister: What you see is a dwarf. If I had been born a peasant, they might have left me out in the woods to die. Alas, I was born a Lannister of Casterly Rock. Things are expected of me. My father was the Hand of the King for twenty years. Jon Snow: Until your brother killed that king. Tyrion Lannister: ...Yes. Until my brother killed him. Life is full of these little ironies. My sister married the new king, and my repulsive nephew will be king after him. I must do my part for the honor of my house; wouldn't you agree? But how? Well, my brother has his sword, and I have my mind. And a mind needs books like a sword needs a whetstone. That's why I read so much, Jon Snow. The subtext of this dialogue takes it's shape when Tyrion Lannister was arrested by Lady Stark and his demand for TRIAL by COMBAT  (First one) in The Eyrie, The Vale of Arryn. This scene justifies the dialogue.... 'That's why I read so much, Jon Snow.'So, Why not an Oscar?? :)

Brad Pitt in the movie Troy---"You Sack Of Wine"?

I think he's making a reference to Aggamemnon being no better than pig's guts. Wine was stored in the empty stomach of a pig or goat back then. Therefore, to be called a sack of wine would be like saying he is as disgusting as the gut of an animal.

Gossip Girl- Books vs. TV?

Differences:

-In the books, Eric is Serena's older brother in the book and he's a student at Brown. He's not gay.
-In the books, Serena's parents are married and rarely mentioned. Lily doesn't even know Rufus.
-In the books, Rufus is old with grey hair and a ponytail. He's eccentric and awkward, not a charming lady's man.
-Jenny has really big boobs and curly brown hair. She never reaches the level of popularity that she does in the show.
-Blair has a little brother in the book. Her mother remarries and she gets a step brother and a baby half sister.
-Dan struggles with his sexuality. He kisses a guy.
-Chuck is basically gay. Plays a really minor role. He's not best friends with Chuck.
-Blair never has sex with Chuck. Serena never kills anyone.
-In the books, Serena leaves the upper east side because of her betrayal not killing anyone
-Nate and vanessa don't date in the books
-vanessa is bald in the books

Similarities:

-Blair's father cheats on her mother with a man and moves away.
-Blair is pretty similar except much more pure and innocent.
-Serena is still a party girl, promiscuous and a betrayer.
-Nate is a pensive stoner.
-Jenny is obsessed with moving up socially
-Dan is obsessed with Serena

Is this why MOST women complain they can't find nice guys when they are ready to settle down?

Because by the time MOST of you all decide to settle down and date someone who is an actual good man with the means to support a family and will actually love you, they are all already ruined by bad experiences or married off to the few decent women out there?? Seriously I used to always be there, listened, serious minded, confident, worked hard, acted like a gentleman and I've been nothing but hurt and messed with. I'm fed up with the mind games, and the cheating, and the "friend zoning" (yet they still expect you to listen to all their crap about another guy) so you can date complete losers. I'm getting two degrees, a minor and have a great business plan for a hedge fund. I just want a life partner I can love and not deal with all this crap with and I just end up getting used by some chicks in class because they are to lazy to do their own **** homework. When I call them out on it and the leading me on, they just get all b**tchy and rude, or how my last ex expected me to pay her credit cards off, or the ex who dumped me for not sleeping with her in the first month because I am not looking for some hot lay, or the ex who was banging an H dealer behind my back while telling me "We need to wait", or the girl I actually loved who dumped me "because I'm young and don't want to get tied down" then preceded to jump in some other d***che's mustang right infront of me, yeah classy I know. I'm seriously done. Then women have the AUDACITY to complain that all the good guys are gone, screw you. When the tables have turned and I'm a little older and I got fat stacks from my hedge fund, it will take serious divine intervention for me to be a nice guy or want anything to do with relationships again period, because you ladies (not all I know) who do this kinda stuff, what goes around comes around and you won't be young and pretty for long. I can't even hold the door open for some girls without hearing "I can open my own door" on a *** date. Before you say it, no I don't meet them at bars and clubs, I'm not dumb. Try class, the library, or church and yes I am pissed right now.

Why do you hate Rachel from Friends?

There are plenty of reasons for hating RachelShe left Barry at the atlar only to sleep with him months later, even when he is engaged to her best friend MindyThe fact that she basically never took any interest in the hobbies and profession of the man she supposedly loved. But frequently despised other women who did, even when she wasn't dating him.Somebody said it already, Rachel encouraged Bonnie to SHAVE HER HEAD. Sure, she was okay with it. But she still mind-gamed a woman into shaving her head to try and break up her relationship. She yelled at Ross for not giving her Guy From The Bar's number. But asked Ross to stop dating and didn't like him flirting with the baby store shop assistant.Basically, the reason the episode with Brad Pitt was so funny, is that deep down, you knew it was true. "I said it was typical. Typical of you, Rachel Green, Queen Rachel does whatever she wants in little Rachel land. She conveniently blamed Ross for everything like the drunk marriage when  it was actually her idea to get married and she tells him after the entire annulment is overI really felt jealous like Ross did of Mark. Whenever i start re-watching the  series, i face difficulty watching Ross go through the pain of the jealousy again and again. I hated Rachel at that time. The only thing i loved about her that she never boarded the plane..its original answer of Kaushal Sinha
