How do people earn money?
There is basically only one way to become rich (assuming you didn't inherit it), and that is to own things that have significant rises in value while you own them. There basically two main ways to do that:Investing, buy things that will grow in value i.e. buy low and sell high; obviously that's easier said than done, if it were easy everyone would be rich. In fact, many academics believe that anything beyond modest growth is purely luck. There a many options for investing, you can invest in stocks, commodities, real estate, etc. Start a company or become an early employee with an equity stake in the company i.e. negotiate for part of your compensation to be in stocks. Note that this tactic is also risky as most startups fail, but if you manage to start or join one that actually turns into a big successful company, it will make you rich (assuming you play your cards right). Of course there is some overlap between the above, for example you could create a company that invests in real estate.Note, with the possible exception of startups, you will never get rich by working for someone else. You actually have to go out and take (calculated) risks.
Cold calling...does it work?? And how many people out of 100 would be offended??
I am 22 and recently started my own business with trying to sell Arbonne products. I decided to do this because I love the products so much! They are fantastic. However...I just recently moved to a new area, I don't have any friends or family here, and I have nobody to really get my business started with. I would like people to ultimately have "Arbonne Parties" to learn more about the products, try them out and some would win free products. But how to do this when you don't know anybody?? I've found some interested Customers through my full time job, but I can't sell very much there as it could be a "conflict of interest". I don't go to church, and the people I go to school with do not have an interest in spending a ton of money. I have recently decided that just opening the phone book and cold calling people in my area might just be the only way to get the ball rolling, but I am concerned about breaking laws, or rules...I don't want to give Arbonne a bad name, either...
Iphone messages only working one way?
Is there some setting you have to change to make it either texts or an iMessage? My sister just got an iphone. When she sends me things it sends as an iMessage, but when I text her it's an actual text. So I figured it was probably something on my end, but I text other people with iPhones and don't have this peoblem
