How do I find someone to write me lyrics to sing?
Thank you for the A2A. To find the right lyricist for you:1) Define your style: Rap? EDM? Rock? Metal? Jazz?2) Define your themes: Political? Apolitical? Parochial? International? Universal?3) Are you writing the music? Are you a real singer or do you want to just rap? Strangely, some of the rappers out there have fabulous voices.5) Find a friend that writes poetry you like4) Or - put together an advert/post for Craigslist, or post on a Facebook group, or a LinkedIn group.Good Luck!
A song with the lyrics that sound like these "are you willing in the east?" ?
reeling in the years, by steely dan
Do your song lyrics sound lame to you... or is it just me...?
I write songs a lot and usually after I put them to a tune they sound horribly lame to me, but my friends all say they're good. I wouldn't worry. For me it's my insecurity. With a little time you'll begin to see in them what others do. Always keep them because they're your creativity, and they'll be treasures someday, especially when you become a musician or singer, the world will want to hear them!
My lyrics sound stupid to me?
I know, I'm supposed to believe in them.. Do other artists have this problem? I want to write a song about my grandparents but there are so many ways to go about it they all get mixed up.
Help with a pop song - lyric "come on over" "the corner" - sound famiar to anyone?
i think its streetcomer by Rob Thomas here are the lyrics to it: Let's come together More than ever I can feel it Can you feel it Come on over Down to the corner My sisters and my brothers of every different color Can't you feel that sunshine telling you to hold tight Things will be alright Try to find a better life Come on over Down to the corner [ these lyrics found on http://www.completealbumlyrics.com ] My sisters and my brothers there for one another Come on over Man I know you wanna let yourself go Some people It's a pity They go all their lives and never know How to love or to let love go But it's alright now We'll make it through this somehow And we'll paint the perfect picture All the colors of this world will run together more than ever I can feel it Can you feel it We may never find our reason to shine But here and now this is our time And I may never find the meaning of life But for this moment I am fine
Does anyone recognize these island song lyrics? Sounds like "Parrot / Pyrat Rum"?
My husband and I were recently vacationing in the Bahamas and heard a song that we are now desperately trying to track down. In the chorus, it sounds like the male vocalist is repeating "Parrot Rum" or possibly "Pyrat Rum." The way he says it almost sounds like "Get a Room (key)." Other lyrics include "Best thing I ever tasted." We think this song was playing on the radio... Does anyone have ANY idea what song I'm talking about??
