Things To Talk About To Someone You Don

How do you tell someone you don't want to talk, without seeming rude?

Because even if you say it politely, like "listen I don't want to be rude but I just don't feel like talking right now," it still comes across like you're being a d!ck.

Just had a weird exchange with my roommate, I was in the kitchen making food, he came in and started asking me questions, and I just was like "I don't know man!" because I just wanted to make some food without being interrogated. He was like "Oh, sorry!" and then it was a thing, and I had to send a text explaining that I wasn't mad.

Is there any right way to avoid talking when you don't want to?
Thanks.

Can you fall in love someone you don't talk to?

Well... It's most probably not LOVE, 'cuz you would need to know them a bit more than that... Maybe it's a crush? Or you just want to get to know them? Also, you might be... Like, fantasizing about the kid. Like, what you think they're like?

How do you tell someone you don't want to talk on the phone?

You could answer and tell her that you have something else to do and can't talk at the moment. Or you could take the call, talk for a few minutes then tell her you enjoyed her call but have to go since you have a previous engagement.

What should you talk about on a first date with someone you know? How can you avoid awkward silences?

This is the beginning of your problem. You're trying to plan your conversation. Then when the conversation goes off the rails, your plan, you're lost and sitting there with your mouth open, and drool dripping out of the corner. The conversation will get derailed 1 minute into it. It always does. You can plan the pickup or meet up time, you can plan the dinner, or dinner location, you can plan the venue or entertainment, you can't plan a conversation.Conversations are like water, they ebb and flow. There's quiet moments and moments that are foaming with excitement. You have to relax and just let them happen. Look, if you and I met randomly on the street, you'd have no problem talking to me and we could probably talk at length with no problem. But you get on a date and because you're more interested in making an impression, you get lost. You get caught with nothing to say or lost in how to respond. Don't worry about the impression. You're going to click or you’re not. Dont make an impression, make a conversation.Just start off asking about them. Dont ask about how their day went because that opens the door to complaining and you don't want the date to turn into a bitch session. Save that conversation for later if you have a relationship. You probably know what they do for a living so ask how they got into that, what their goals and dreams are, etc.. once it gets started, let it flow where it wants like water spilled on the table. Dont plan it or control it.If you do this, youll never run out of things to say. And impressions? The fact that you will appear relaxed and not forced and under pressure will leave the best impression. You don't plan your conversations with your mom, dad, bro, sis, or friends, or stranger you just met (unless you're presenting a point and trying to convince), don't plan it for a date.

What to say when someone asks you what you wanna talk about ?

Me & My boyfriend like eachother alot, but we don't know what to talk about a lot. so towards the end of almost all our conversations, when we both don't know what to say, he always asks me"'So what do you wanna talk abouut ?" And i always say whatever you want, but he doesnt know either and it ends up in 21 questions every timme. xP What should i say next time ?
