I'm thinking about quitting Best Buy? Please help!?
It's best buy, that's not even real sales work. It's just "yes we have xbox360s in stock" or "here, your kid will love this game" You need to just relax and remember its just Best Buy. People that go there already know what they want, and most would rather not be bothered by some annoying person trying to get them to buy a service plan for the HDMI cable they are getting. If you must quit but aren't sure how this is an easy way: Go to the TV section with a nice leather couch and start watching a movie and just enjoy yourself. If some annoying manager starts yelling at you just turn up the volume. Eventually the problem will solve itself. Simple!! **Update: My point was that working for Best Buy isn't anything spectacular and you shouldn't be stressing out so much about keeping the job. I've worked with computers since I was 12 and applied to work in the computer department selling computers - I figured my computer knowledge would come in handy, but did the interviewer ask me anything about computers? No. He handed me an old stapler and told me to sell him the stapler. That interview proved to me that Best Buy is only interested in selling crap that people don't want or need, like extra cables or protection plans. This isn't a company you should be proud to work for so don't worry if you get fired. There's much better organizations you could be devoting your time and energy towards!
Anyone have advice for buying this computer?
I am thinking of buying a Sony Viao FZ series laptop that has 2 gigs of ram and a NVidia 8400 GT graphics gpu. I am into gaming but I don't have enough money to get one of those expensive alienware computers. Is this a powerful gaming pc or is there something better for the same price. Please, nothing much more expensive if you have another computer in mind. Nothing lasts forever mate. No, RAM can go bad, although it's not very common. One of the first things to go in the computer is actually the power supply (if it's a cheap one). Where can you buy RAM? Newegg, Crucial, computer shops near you etc It may be good to know about what kind of RAM you are currently using (go to Crucial.com, use the scanner and it will tell you).
