This Information Will Show You How To Eat Properly

When can i eat proper food after wisdom teeth extraction?

You should be rinsing with really warm salt water to remove debris and cleanse the areas even while they are sutured. I would also recommend that you start some exercises to help you regain the full function of your jaw and ease the soreness. It's simple, two hot damp towels on both sides of your face and begin opening and closing, stretching wider each time. This will help to relax the muscles and get the blood flowing in the tissue to promote healing.

By today you should be able to start adding more normal foods back into your diet. No, I wouldn't advise pizza or steak either, not just yet! But you can eat more substantial foods such as chicken, fish, seafood, meatloaf, pot roast, pasta, spaghetti, lasagna (cheese or veg) and most vegetables and some softer fruits (grapes and orange sections, thinly sliced apples or bananas and plumbs), salads (pasta or tuna) and soft breads.

Just take it slow with small bites and chew slowly. Avoid any sharp (tortilla chips), grainy (hamburger) or seeded (poppy or sesame seeded breads)foods just yet; these tend to cut, stab or become lodged in the open areas causing difficulty to remove or infections to develop, even with sutures in place.

Additional information: The removal of wisdom teeth are much different than that of other teeth extracted due to their size, location and especially when they are impacted. Take your time with eating, small bites and slowly is always best. Try the exercise with the hot towels, or stand in a hot shower letting the water run over your face and jaws. You will feel a difference immediately in your muscles, which is what is causing most of the pain you are feeling right now. You are through the worst of it now but it will take several weeks for you to feel back to normal again.

Can some one tell me how to eat tom yum properly?

Tom Yum is different from soup in the western sense - you are not expected to, nor should you eat everything in the bowl. It is typically seafood, meat, vegetables, etc. cooked and served in a spicy broth. There will usually be whole chilies, lemon grass and other herbs and spices that are not meant to be eaten but are there only for flavor.

When eating tom yum just spoon the meat and vegetables from the broth, it's fine to sip some of the broth if you wish. There's no need to finish all the broth. Be sure to leave the chilies and lemon grass etc. in the bowl.

Can we directly eat turmeric powders for brain?

I'm a Law student at university and I've heard from my friends that eating turmeric is good for our brain to function properly and to memorize information better. So, this idea of eating turmeric powders instead of making turmeric drink with other ingredients being added, such as black peppers, honey, came across my mind and so I'm asking you here. I hope you will give me an answer. Thank you in advance.

How to eat properly, in a public place?

so, are you saying that you don't eat in public? or just that you're naturally inclined to eat like a ravenous viking, and really try to tone that down in public? eat. in public, even.

as to eating properly in public, don't touch your food with your hands unless it's obvious finger food, like sandwiches or tacos - eat with utensils as much as possible. utensils are laid out (at fancy meals, anyway) from the outside in. so your salad fork will be to the left of you dinner fork, which is to the left of your dessert fork. if you have a knife, cut your food into small-ish pieces, and lay the knife back down; the knife can also be used to push food onto the fork when needed. place your napkin in your lap and use it often.

well, that's proper etiquette, anyway. :) i'm not saying that's proper victorian etiquette, or what i'll be doing at the next meetup (yeah, i'll just be sitting over here at the ravenous viking table. :D) i'd say just relax and have fun with it. oh yeah, i was serious about the napkin in your lap thing, though - it'll help protect your skirt. :)

Eating With A Healed Tongue piercing?

I had my tongue pierced for about 3 years before I took it out I never had any major problems with mine and never regretted it but if you do get it done and decide you regret it you can always just take it out! Mines been out for about 6mo you can't even tell it was ever there. Anyways when I first got it done of course it swelled up and hurt for like a week I ate soft foods after that it was not biggie except sometimes when I would eat things like spaghetti the noodles would get wrapped around the bar :) I did not clean it after everything I ate unless I noticed something was stuck on it which hardly ever happened. One thing I would recommend I asked my piercer to put it a little further back on my tongue than they normally do to prevent it from clacking against the back of my teeth my friends a dental hygienist and she says that she see's tons of people who absolutely wrecked they're teeth from running the ball across the back of their teeth it removes the enamel there anyway after I took mine out I went in and they said they couldn't even tell by looking at my teeth that I had it done putting it farther back removes the temptation to run it along you teeth. Also they make some tongue rings that are made of some kind of plastic much less damaging than metal. When you go in they will tell you how far back they can do it it depends where the big vein that you can see on the underside of you tongue runs. Just make sure you take care of it trust me infected piercings are painful Good luck!!

My teenage daughter won't eat anything, should i force her to?

Okay.. sounds like most answers don't know much about EDs.. I suggest you go to Nova's website and find the video "Dying to be THin" It's a 60 minute informative video on Eatign disorders that will teach you ALOT (i don't recommend having your daughter watch it, though.)

Telling your daughter to just "Eat" is like telling a cancer patient to stop making tumors. She has a disease. She needs treatment. She CAN'T just eat.

Please talk to a doctor that can recommend an Eating Disorder specialist.
