This Is My First Flight And I Have No Clue What To Do. What Do I Need To Bring In My Carry On Bag

Spirits Airlines carry on bag?

So My husband and I are going to be flying to vegas on spirits airline and I was wondering what Are we able to bring with us on the carry on bag. This will be our first time flying so we have no clue. Can I bring shampoo, body wash, perfume, personal hygiene items? Also what is the size of carry on bag that we are able to bring in order for it to be free? On there site it says back packs and small bags that are not larger then 16x14x12 are considered free. But I seen on another site that people were within those dimensions and still got charged. Also can my husband and I both bring a free carry on bag?

Can I bring a fish hook on my hat on a airplane in the bag that goes in the back no carry on?

You can pack your hat in your check-in luggage with the fish hook. If you want to carry knives, they have to go in the check in luggage too.
Your laptop should go in your carry-on luggage and has to be taken out at security check.

For travel in the USA you can use the TSA website, where they have lists of what to pack in which part of your luggage.
For Europe the rules are alike but not identical. If in doubt, search the site of your airline, as most have a good list of what not to bring in carry-on, and what not to bring in check-in luggage.
Do have a good read on the liquids, (3-1-1 on the TSA website.)

Can I bring a fish hook on my hat on a airplane in the bag that goes in the back no carry on?

In your checked baggage, that which goes into the aircraft hold, it is permissible to carry your fishing equipment including hooks and knives. It is forbidden to carry them onto the plane with you as hand baggage,

Checked baggage OK, Hand baggage no, no.

Of course you can take your laptop with you as hand baggage, I would recommend that you do not send it as checked baggage as it could get damaged or disappear.

When you go through security you will need to take your lap top out of your carry on bag and place it in a tray so it can be screened separately. This happens in the same machine as the rest of your hand baggage and at the same time so it will not delay you. You will also have to empty your pockets of all metal items (keys, money and so forth) and possibly your belt and shoes and coat and place these in a tray to be screened.

In your hand baggage you should take any jewellery, medication, other items of value like your lap top or iPod and anything you will need during the flight. (Like a book or magazine). Anything else should go into checked bags. You are allowed to carry on board small amounts of liquids and gels so long as they are all in containers whose capacity does not exceed 3.4oz (100ml). These containers must be placed in a transparent, plastic, resealable bag no bigger than quart size (20cm x 20cm) and again must be scanned separately. One such bag per passenger.

You can carry larger amounts of liquids and gels in checked baggage.

All of the rules can be seen on the TSA website in the USA
http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/p...

or the following link in the UK

While all this stuff seems daunting, it need not be and will take only a few minutes if you prepare properly. The security staff are generally helpful and are there to keep you and other passengers safe.

Have a great flight wherever you are going

How does a 1 stop flight work?

ARE you changing planes? You might not be, and then of course your bags don't have to be moved. It's just making a stop, like a bus. If it's the same flight number for both parts of the flight, then it's the same plane just making a stop. You stay on it and so do your bags.

If it's different flight numbers, then they'll transfer the bags for you, certainly if you're staying on the same airline. And very likely even if it's a different airline - there are groups of airlines that have connected up in alliances, and airlines in the same group will do this too. To be sure, check when you check in your bags that they are labelled right through to your final destination. The clerk wraps a big label round the handle to show where it's going - is the three-letter code of the airport at your final destination on it in big letters? If it is, then you know that the baggage handlers can see that and they will pass your bags on to the next flight.

You shouldn't need to go through security again as you've already done it once. Though you might have to if that involves changing terminals, because then you might need to go out of "airside" to get to the other terminal.

To explain this, airport terminals are divided into a landside and airside part. Once you're through security, you're airside and as long as you stay airside, everything there has been through a security check and shouldn't need checking again. But if you go landside, you could have collected something that isn't allowed while you're there, and you need to be checked again to be allowed airside again. Changing terminals doesn't necessarily mean "going landside" and I really can't say unless I know what airport your stop is at.

2 examples. At London Heathrow, you can transfer between terminals without going through security again as long as you do it by transfer bus. The bus goes directly from the airside part of one terminal to the airside part of another, so then you've technically been airside the whole time.

At Philadelphia, they call different parts of the airport building "terminals" but actually they aren't - it's just a way of labelling one long building. I got there early once for a flight from Terminal A and wanted something to eat. I walked off and had a pizza in - I think - Terminal D! Really there are no separate terminals there at all, because it's all one building.

What’s the benefit of boarding a flight early if seats are already assigned?

If everybody would want to be the last one to board a plane, the plane would never take off.At least you will get some space in the over head locker. You get to sit down, relax and dive into your book or whatever else your way of relaxation or entertainment is.You stop your wife/partner from nagging you to go and join the long boarding queue for no obvious reason.Getting a lot of exercise if you are sitting in an aisle seat letting other passengers take their seat, the getting up again to let them get their earphones from their overhead locker, then again for the book they forgot, then for the sandwich, then for the drink…..

How to bring vape on airplane?

So im going on a plane for the first time tomorrow, I'm 18 years old and my parents are completely against and don't know about me vaping. I would bring my Nic-salt device called the nexus and that's it. No e-juice or anything. How do I bring it on a plane. Will they be suspicious of it if I put it in my carry on bag because it is a tiny and different looking device.. Or do I have to expose it so they can see it? I really don't know how the system works. I just want to know how I can get my vape on a plane without my parents knowing
