Thoughts On My Erotic Novel

Does the library have erotic novels?

I live in a large metropolitan city and the idea of my library banning any book titles seems outrageous. You could find 50 Shades of Gray which is supposidly about light S & M to urban dramas with some rape and violent sex. I think the only three subjects I won't find on library shelves is anything to do with pedophilia (except in realistic fiction); bodily functions during sex; sex with dead bodies (and I don't mean vampires); and hard core S & M/ violence and again if it is non-fiction you might find a madam telling her tales of her making men crawl across a floor to lick her boots.
Charlene Teglia writes some really hot and steamy stuff so type her in and see if your library carries any of her titles.
Laurel K. Hamilton writes both the Anita Blake series and the Merry Gentry series which have orgies at least every five chapters if not more.
Jackie Kessler writes about Succubi and Inccubi who are pretty much trying to save the borders of hell by having as much sex as possible and I know my library carries them because I donated three of the titles.
There are also plenty of LGT stories out as well and some are as graphic sexually as any romance.

Explicit erotic novels vs porn?

Isn't the only difference between the two that one has pictures (still or moving) and the other does not?

Is one worse than the other? Us girls tend to like the romatic/erotic book while men like to look at pictures. Should they be mad at us for reading romance novels?

Any Good Nicknames For My Character In My Erotic Novel Story?

The type of nickname I imagine in this is more of a title used within the business. The sort of nickname that becomes obvious based on his work history.

Symmetrical features, considered extractive by a wide variety of women, perfect vision, intelligent, athletic, and who produces highly mobile sperm that offer a high conception percentage.

When clients describe the qualities they desire, they're told they want "The Planter" or maybe "The Gardener".

Of those two, the first feels better. A gardener also could be a landscaper working at bikini waxes, so any option that is easily undermined is inferior.

Further, while "The Sower" might accurately describer the activity, it might look too close to sewer, and phonetically too similar to one who works with thread and needle. You absolutely would want to avoid any accidental thoughts of -needles- for a gigolo.

Those are my thoughts on it. Good luck with the story.

Is my gay erotic novel illegal if it involves minors?

A 22 year old man falls in love with a 16 year old boy after seeing him skinny dipping. The 16 year old boy looks like a girl so the man mistakes him for a girl. The 16 year old goes and works at the 20 year old's grandpa's cafe and works as a waiter. His grandpa tries to hit him up with his grandson. The 22 year old is a business worker and regular the cafe. The 20 year old falls in love with the 16 year old mistaking him for a girl. But he continues the relationship after realizing the 16 year old true gender. The 16 year old constantly turns on the man so they end up having oral sex in his white van. He later buys the 16 year old a girl's outfit, complete with a ruby choker and panties, which he persuades the 16 year old to wear despite his initial protests. He views the boy solely as a sexual object, though later shows true concern for 16 year old after he disappears.

Why is incest a common theme in Victorian erotic novels?

I am just guessing, but nobility and royalty were still considered the top tier of class in western civilization. Royalty and nobility was still common all throughout Europe, and those families all engaged in incest to some degree. The professional/middle class tried as hard as they could to emulate the European nobles, like women always using parasols so that their skin would stay pale. So there was a lot of emphasis on being like the royals.

The stories were probably trying to set an idealistic atmosphere where the reader could imagine being of high-class without the drama of working class life. Are the main characters in these books starving factory workers or high class socialites? If its the second, then that would probably be your answer.

How can I stop sexual thoughts and clean my mind?

This was what Buddhist monks and nuns are taught.I did it and it worked so well I freaked.Imagine someone you fancy as their bodily parts. Now imagine a row of large buckets.Next imagine putting their skin in the first bucket.Put their brain and lungs and eyes and other organs in the next bucket.Put their muscles and sinew and cartlidge and tendons and bone marrow in the next bucket. Now put their blood and mucus and snot and urine and faeces in the next. Finally odds and sods like eyes snd hair and nails in the last bucket. Now ask yourself which bucket sexually arouses you the most.Which bucket contents are the most attractive? This is the body you fancy is it not.Nothings changed other than the arrangement of the bits. The bits themselves haven’t changed in the slightest.Stay aware of the contents of the buckets, allow revulsion to arise. If you need to focus on a particular bucket to create revulsion do it.Don’t worry about the exact content of each bucket. It’s just a tool.Put whatever you want in each bucket.A simpler way is to visualise the person with their skin piled at the side of them. You can then continue this as your meditation.Every time you see someone recall what’s inside the skin, imagine the skin has gone .Every time your mind wanders away or you get distracted recall the exercise and start doing it again with the people around you. This is mindfulness of the parts of the body as they are.I did this diligently for a week or two.All sexual craving ceased as did finding any body attractive.I’d been married for a couple of years by then and I did it as an experiment. It worked dramatically well. But after getting spooked I chose to view my wife as I had before (beautiful) and that was fine.I’d be very interested to know how you get on if you try it.

Is it normal to write erotic stories about you and your crush?

Its not weird! You like to write! You are going to write about whatever interest you right now, and clearly getting together with him is it.

Anyway, who cares if you are weird. Everyone is weird somehow. :)
