Nose piercing.. thoughts?
I'm 14 years old, turning 15 in a few months. I'm a virgin, never smoked, never drink, I always dress modest and I get good grades. My parents said they were okay with me getting it once I turn 15, but many of my friends say that it looks slutty. What is your opinion on it? Would 15 be too young for that? Would I lose respect for having one? I have no other piercings except for my ears and I honestly see nothing wrong with a small diamond stud or a small nose ring. Please give me your opinions? Thoughts on nose piercings?
If you like them, get one. Don't tailor your looks on how other people want you to look! Personally I recon the majority of people suit nose piercings, but then again I'm a fan of piercings and have a fair few so Im biased. The one thing about nose piercings though, is if it scars, that's on your face so make sure your ok with that risk. I know you said dont mention the age thing, but just to check, I assume your dad caving in means the piercing parlour required parental consent at your age? If not, you should wait and find a different place cause no reputable piercer would pierce a 13 year olds nose without their parent with them.
Nose piercing second thoughts?
I'm having second thoughts. Will I regret it? I'm a fairly "preppy" person. I don't have any tattoos, I wear HCO, A&F, AE. The only other piercing I have is my ears. Will it make me look trashy? And what about when I'm like 80 and I have a nose piercing? EHH? *Also, I'm 16, and plan on getting a small diamond stud.

I had my nose pierced at the age of 13.my motives were different from yours but it doesn't matter.I wanted my nose pierced because even though I am British with British parents I was born in Oman. I moved around a lot as a child for my parents job so never had any memory of my birth country.When I was 13 my mum took me to Oman upon my request to visit the place where I was born as we prefer before I was 1.there was this woman in the village who was piercing the noses of girls around my age and she said it was a sign of femininity, sign that they were women so I wanted it too and my mum said yes as it is a traditional thing there and in a way it was part of my culture as this trip was to discover the places of my beginnings.i have had my nose ring for 19 years now and I would feel naked without it. It represents where I was born and it represents my femininity.
Should I let my 14 year old daughter get a nose piercing?
I say absolutely. What objective harm would such an accessory create? Will she or anyone else be harmed before, during, or after? No, but instead she will have something that can boost her self esteem. Although it is foolish, I bet you can remember being that age and wanting to do, or wear, something that your peers and yourself perceived as cool. So, being that there is no objective harm, and it's not permanent; why not permit your daughter to satiate that naive desire to be perceived as "cool," thus allowing her to experience whatever it is she is looking to gain.

Are nose piercings common in Italy?
hi i'm italian !is not absolutely true, here in italy using the very piercing, but there are people who like and people who don t like. I am of Southern Italy and everywhere you turn you see them! for girls are more used to her lips to the language of the nose to the top of the lips any part of ear and all ombellico while for male ears lips eyebrows, maybe do not have sight but there are many girls with piercings. Should guys get nose piercings?
it may not be the most common sights to see, but guys do have nose piercings. It is a minority who do but they are fully entitled to do what ever they like with their own body. By comparison, it is less permanent than say a tattoo as it can be taken out with very little permanent scaring, where as a tattoo, is there for life. I have no problem seeing guys with nose piercings and really suits some of them

Kleo: Excuse you! If you read the question, I am MARRIED and have 3 kids. I've been happily married for almost 6 years and all my children were conceived within those 6 years. No pre-marital sex involved. The question was about a piercing, not about children. If being 24, happily married to a military man and having 3 beautiful children is trashy, then sure....
