My dog is throwing up foam after eating a rawhide bone? Should I take him to the vet? Please answer quickly!?
My 6 pound Yorkie ate a rawhide bone and has been throwing up white foam ever since. Should we take him to the vet? (My parents don't think we should, but I've read about it and it says 'take to vet immediatly) He is able to drink water, but I'm worried it will puncture his intestines. What should I do? PLEASE ANSWER QUICKLY!
What to do after throwing up?
Ok, si it's about 11 am at the moment. Last night and yesterday afternoon, i kept throwing up. I think i ate something bad or i have a virus, so i am home from school for today. I have already tried to slowly nibble on half an apple and didn't get very far (this was about 2 hours ago). I am really hungry but i don't want to eat because i might throw up again. Even though i am still feeling sick what should i eat and drink? (I heard that biscuits and fizzy water are good, and i have some Jatz and Sayos (biscuits) but the only fizzy drinks i have id coke zero. is that ok or will it make me worse?) Also how should i lie down? i felt sick when i lay on my stomach ,but are there any good positions to lie in that will help me stop feeling sick, or at least not get worse? My cat is throwing up her food and has matted hair?
It sounds like she may be having some kind of trouble with her mouth, possibly her teeth. This happened to my cat. Here's the logic: her mouth hurts, so she doesn't groom, therefore her hair is matted. Also, since her mouth hurts, she doesn't chew and it probably hurts to swallow, so she's throwing up. She's probably grouchy too if she's in pain (wouldn't we be?). Watch her when she eats. Does she poke at the dry food with her paw? Does she paw it out of the bowl, push it on the ground, then eat it from there? My cat did that because it apparently hurt his mouth when he pushed it up against the other food in the bowl. Is she drooling? Try to look in her mouth... does it look more red than pink? (signs of irritation) or is there some white? (possibly pus from an infection) With my cat, they had to pull out a few teeth, then he took meds for the infection and was better in no time. It's time to go to the vet to have her mouth checked out. Good luck!

What can I do if my dog is throwing up yellow liquids, and wants eat or drink?
Give small amounts of food and water at a time. It sounds like he is vomiting bile because the stomach is empty. If he is able to keep the food and water down, you can increase amounts until you are able to resume normal diet. If vomiting persists, he may need sub q fluids or iv therapy and a antisemetic to stop the nausea. Dehydration will cause additional problems so important to keep him hydrated. Any idea what the cause of vomiting is? May be worth a vet visitif vomiting does not stop, I highly recommend a vet visit.
My cat has been throwing up bloody puke recently after eating pine needles and branches. How bad is this?
Its serious enough to get him to the vet quickly. Blood in vomit is not a good thing. The branches could of scratched or ripped his little esophagus. I doubt it is really too late for a vet. There are emergency vets open 24 hrs. If there really is not one in your area, you must take your cat to the vet ASAP!!!
