How clean my tongue without throwing up?
I usually brush my tongue but WAY in the back I try to brush and I cant get to that area without gagging and making myselft throw up. Now that I cant reach back there with a brush or a tongue scraper I have a white coating way in the back near my throat. How do I get the coating off without gagging?
How do I stop throwing up while brushing my teeth?
Try brushing without paste. You can use a fluoridated rinse after brushing (unless you follow a sugar free/plant based diet). Brush this order: the outside front first, outside sides, outside back, inside front top, inside front bottom, rest of inside top, then bottom by tongue. Ironically some people gag only with electric brushes and some only with manual. You will have to experiment. A small head takes up less space but a larger head may cut down on the amount of time the brush is in there.If you do not have any dietary restrictions you can try a teeny tiny pinch of salt on the back of your tongue. You can also try filling your mouth with water and brushing with it in there. Try different positions such as head forward toward chest or back looking up.Once you identify exactly where your trigger area is in your mouth brush that area last and focus your mind on something else: anything from butt crunches, alternating toe lifts or writing a story in your head.Please let us know what works for you.
Tongue piercing problem!!!?!?
Either you have the stomach flu making you throw up or ate some bad chicken or your tongue is rejecting the piercing...I don't see why it would make you throw up though.
Dog has cold tongue and is vomiting?
She started vomiting today in the morning and has been doing so all day. She's mostly just laying down and when she gets up to walk she does so lazyly. Her tongue and nose are icy cold. She hasn't been wanting to eat anything all day and at one point I offered her one of her favourite treats but didn't take it. A while ago she layed down under a couch which she never does. Could it be some type of stomach flu? I'm taking her to the Vet in the morning (it's 1am) but is there anything I can do to make her feel better until then?
What does it feel like when your about to throw up?
your laying on your bed your stomach gets the worst feeling ever it feels like you can't move out of one position when you do move ou of that position you feel a sharp jab and BLAHH then your mouth tastes really bitter and sour and it smells like eggs with lemon then you takw a shower and feel better!
Tongue piercing and getting over a cold?
Being sick and getting your tongue pierced SUCKS. I threw up three times the night of my tongue piercing, and that does NOT feel good on a new piercing. I would definitely say wait until you're completely done with your cold before you get it done. Healing a tongue ring and getting over a cold is just not something you want to do at the same time.
My cat is throwing up foamy stuff. Some of it is yellow/white. What is this and what can I do?
Take it to the veterinarian... as in yesterday.As Catherine Spencer said it could be a hairball, but there are other (scarier) options.One of my cats got really sick, the same symptom, starting a bank holiday, I thought if it was hairball it would eventually go out.When I got my kitty to the vet she was almost dehydrated, and I was giving her water with a syringe (without needle, of course), but she vomited out more than I managed to make her drink in. So, make sure your cat is hydrated. My vet stressed it a lot.Second problem, if she has stopped eating it's a bad sign. As my vet emphasied cats should never fast, not even for 24 hours, it could damage their livers.Then, she would need high protein canned food to recover. Mine didn't like it, so I mixed it with water and I gave her with the syringe.As I found out, it is not normal for cats to vomit.The vet run blood-tests and x-rays to rule out some other disease, everything looked normal.Treatment:My kitty stayed half a day at the vet's hooked up to a drip administering intravenous fluids.She got two types of shots, one of them to make her stop vomiting, during five days in a row.The vet let me take her home with me, but we were visiting day in day out for almost a week.High protein canned food.Make her drink water.Recovery signs:When she drinks and eats by herself.We never got to know what was wrong, but she recovered just fine. My heart began to beat again, so happy ending for everyone.P.S. If you haven't got syringes, get some; they are very handy.

You probably shouldn't do that, if it's not for any specific reason.
If you are choking, will forcing vomit stop the choking?
Choking means you have a foreign body lodged somewhere between the back of your tongue and lower trachea, enough so that you have a total or partial airway obstruction.The oesophagus (aka esophagus), which leads to the stomach, lies behind the trachea. Air and food only share the same pathway through the mouth down to just above the epiglottis (first bit of the larynx).So when someone’s choking, vomiting will cause the following outcomes:Nothing, if the object is stuck below the larynx and therefore does not share a pathway with the offending object.Aspiration, if the object is stuck above the epiglottis, the vomit hits the object and rebounds back into the airway.Neither of these outcomes is favourable or a good use of time in this situation.Instead, it is better to perform standard first aid practices.
