Whilst, historically, trams were street running and trains had their own right of way, certainly in the UK in recent years this isn't the case. Manchester Metrolink:- http://www.metrolink.co.uk/, Sheffield Supertram:- http://www.supertram.com/, Nottingham Tramlink:- http://www.thetram.net/ and Croydon Tramlink:- http://www.croydon-tramlink.co.uk/ all use a mixture of street running coupled with out of town running on either tracks taken over from heavy rail or on abandoned heavy rail formations. Tyne and Wear Metro:- http://www.nexus.org.uk/wps/wcm/connect/Nexus/Metro which was the first such in the UK in modern times was launched as a tram system, but uses old heavy rail entirely, apart from in the city centre (where tunnels were dug) with no street running. The Edinburgh system, on the other hand, http://www.edinburghtrams.com/, which is currently under construction, is being built entirely in its own alignment and has caused uproar as the construction work caused endless disruption in the main shopping area, Princes Street.
Where is it better to live in: Dublin or Drogheda? I prefer a simpler and more cost-efficient place to relocate in, and ease of commute is a big plus too. Are there any inputs for OLOL Hospital Drogheda and Our Lady's Children's Hospital Crumlin?
Population of Drogheda is about 70,000, the Greater Dublin area is close to 2,000,000. It is cheaper to live in Drogheda than in Dublin.You would have an easier commute in Drogheda unless of course you choose to live very close to OLCH Crumlin. On the other hand, Dublin offers much more in terms of social, cultural and sporting options. Your decision depends on what you value most. I can't help in any way with inputs on the relative merits of the two hospitals, perhaps others can. Good luck with your decision.

Either Edinburgh or Dublin. I love both! Definitely not London... Try researching a bit on the internet about each one and decide urself which convices u more. Both are beautiful and have really nice people and going out areas so try to decide upon other things such as...: -possibility of working in something u want/like/have experience -expenses such as renting a room and/or how hard it is to find one -good public transport system, also during nightime (for those late ones ;). and what about flight connections? maybe one city has better airport than others. -what about shopping facilities: cheap clothes and supermarkets will be handy. -the weather. i know ur canadian, but check on this, it counts too -if u have any hobbies, the facilities: if u like hill walking, surfing, golf¿? -other things, like, if u think about getting a car, how much that would be, nd so on.

Do you mean this: Two men go into a bar. They order exactly the same drink. The first man drinks his drink quickly and leaves. The second man drinks his drink slowly (over a number of hours). The second man dies. What happened? The ice in the drinks was poisoned (note: both drinks were poisoned!). Since the first man drank quickly the ice didn't have time to melt and he wasn't affected. The second man's ice had time to melt, so by the time he finished his drink he was poisoned.
