Tips For Getting My Hands On An Iphone

What are tips for filming on an iPhone?

Plan your shots before you shoot.Shoot clips that can be edited. Closeups of the same subject rarely cut together well. Shoot various size shots from closeups to mediums to wides. Shoot plenty of coverage. You’ll pat yourself on your back in your edit.Hold on your shot longer than you think. You’ll hate yourself in your edit if you don’t.Move the camera smoothly. Shaky-cam rarely works.Use a tripod or gimbal to steady the shot.Don’t shoot into bright light.Shoot at the highest data rate. There are apps like Filmic Pro that give you much greater control over the camera parameters, but that may over complicate the process.Don’t forget about sound! If you’re shooting dialog use a separate recorder and a lavilier mic on each speaker. Record audio on the iPhone as well so you can sync more easily. At the least, slate every dialog shot. A simple hand clap will work if you don’t have a slate. And announce by voice each scene before you slate. Again, you’ll thank yourself in the edit.Have fun.

Why do my hands get so sweaty when I'm holding my phone!?

This happens to me too so I will try to explain best as I can.

Basically, when your hand closes around an object, especially technology it becomes heated from the radio waves and that causes the hand to sweat.

Also, if there is an outcome relying on the use of the phone, you may not be consciously aware of it but you are under stress using it.

You could try some breathing exercises (like in and out ten times) but if that is too weird try holding the phone with two fingers and not holding it right to your ear when speaking.

What are some tips for a life long iPhone user who wants to switch to Android (and phone recommendation too)?

Every single answerer seems to be a proud android user, and they're just telling you just the things they like about android, not the tips you need to survive in the new platform.I did the reverse path. What I struggle today on iOS is the walled garden Apple has created. It's hard to get files, into and from the phone through a simple web download. It's a pain to create new ring sounds. The voice assistant doesn't really compare to Google’s.All the rest, although, is plainly awesome. And that means some trouble with your move. So, I think we should focus in what made me leave Android in the first place: Java. That means inefficiency. All apps and system features on IOS are made in native machine code. That makes it way more efficient. I was impressed by how much the battery lasted and I though I had a huge battery in my hands when I first ran an iPhone. No. The battery is “normal”, for it fills up quick with normal charger. What I was witnessing was just an energetically-efficient device. Also, apps just pop open.Of course, I had a mid range Android device, and that alone makes the comparison unfair. But these Android things run non-native code on lots of things, all the time. Also, they come crowded with bloatware, depending on the maker. And android systems just seem to degrade over time. Java’s got an undesired overhead on the system, IMHO, and that's what needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Bottom lines:Get a top-notch device. You really don't want to save money on this requirement if you're coming from Apple.Research before buying. Get something with lots of RAM and processing power is important. You do not need to worry too much about internal storage, in the other hand: micro SD cards are an option. Top-notch devices will love some extra 64 GB or more expansion.Avoid makers that don't avoid bloatware. I have specially unfond memories of the Samsung ones, but that was long ago and things may be a little different, so, do your research.

How easy it is to use iPhone XS Max with one hand?

The iPhone XS Max is about the size of an iPhone 8 Plus, or any of the iPhone Plus models. To answer this, I’d go and borrow a Plus model iPhone from a friend, or go to a store and use one there, and see how it goes. Remember, however, that’s not the whole story, since gestures have replaced the “Home” button, and you still need to be able to make use of those gestures. If the “Plus” model isn’t too big, then go to an Apple Store and try the iPhone XS Max. Or, again, borrow one from a friend to try it out. There’s no pat answer to your question. Only you know how big your hands are, and even more, what’s comfortable for you to do with one hand. You have to actually try things out. For me, personally, I don’t want to have that big of a phone in my pocket…the iPhone XR might be marginally too large for me, but I intend to take a look at it at find out :-).

My cat knocks my phone out of my hand?

Every night when I'm in bed my and on my iPhone my cat always nudges it to the point where I can't even use it enjoyably. She always knocks it out of my hands, no matter how much attention I give her during the day or right before I lay down in bed. How do I get her to stop? It's really annoying; I just want to use my phone in peace.

Btw I don't have the heart to kick her out of my room, I love her a lot and love when she sleeps with me. It's just before we go to sleep is when she is annoying

What are good tips for preordering a new iPhone when they first become available at midnight?

This is always a moving target each upgrade cycle. If you aim to have an iPhone 7 as soon as possible timing is quite important as, for example, there is a 100% chance the Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus (likely the most popular because of uniqueness) will be sold out in minutes. The exact time of the release is officially 12:00 midnight PDT, however in my research I have been able to initiate an order up to 3 hours earlier (accommodation to EDT?) up to 15 minute till midnight most recently. The best strategy is to order two devices as a plan B, the one you want and the one you would live with and sell the unwanted device on eBay. You may be able to actually profit from the transaction. Having two options allows you to recover from a sold out situation. Have the site loaded on two or more computers, iPads, etc. or use the app. At the moment the site is live enter in your plan A, B, C, etc. simultaneously and cross your fingers.Another option is to work with a cellular company directly. I have had great success in obtaining devices on the day of release by dealing with someone I know at a local store. This works far better if you are not in a large city or tech area. Some say it is not a glamorous as a purchase from Apple, but it works. If history holds true, the iPhone 7 will be the best selling “initial day” / “initial week” sale in history. I predict the limited inventory of the most desired iPhone 7 Pluses will be tight till November.

Why do my hands go numb when I hold my phone?? Is this common or normal?

Whenever I'm laying in bed and I'm holding my phone, my hands (mainly my left hand) goes numb. Like my whole pinky , ring finger, and half of my middle finger down to my wrist goes numb as soon as I put the phone in my hand. So I have to hold my phone in my right so I can get the feeling back. This happens to me often. As I'm typing this my whole side of my left hand is completely numb and my right hand is getting there. Why is this ?? Does this happen to other ppl to ?? Should I be worried??

IPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus? 64gb or 128gb?

So I've been saving up money to buy the latest iPhone. My dad said there's no problem in getting the actual phone it's just being able to pay every month. I've already pretty much got that covered though. The question is, I don't know which phone to get! I have pretty small hands but I don't find the 6 plus annoying (yes I've seen and held both) , I'm just worried I'll get tired of it, I love the screen size of the 6 plus and battery life since I watch a lot of YouTube and browse the Internet. (btw I'm going into high school) However the 6 feels much more comfortable in my hand. I always put my phone in my back pocket because putting it in the front pocket would be weird since I'm a girl. I also find it much more convenient because I don't like to carry around a lot of weight. I've also found that the cases for the iPhone 6 plus are more expensive and I'm trying to save as much money as possible while still getting what I want. What do you recommend? any tips? I'm also debating on what storage capacity I should get. idk if to get the 64 or 128 gb. I'm currently using an iPod 5th gen 32 gb and I always have to delete stuff off it (it's quite annoying) I don't know if the 64 gb is too little storage since I take a lot of pictures/videos (and by a lot I mean a lot, I have around 6,000 pictures atm) but then I'm also afraid the 128 will be too much and it'll be money spent down the drain. Any help?? btw I'm getting the silver (:
