Tips For Looking Good For Prom

Tips on losing weight for prom?

Hello there!

I remember my prom... so exciting...finding that perfect dress!

I'll give you some advice and a healthy eating plan for the next 2 months if your looking to drop some weight however don't go overboard because your not overweight in the slightest!

First of all forget the crunches, sit ups and push ups. I managed to tone myself up doing something so much more simple and fun...you wouldn't even believe how good it is for your body but it is as simple as DANCING!! Get your favourite tunes on and just go for it, make sure no one is around twist that belly and feel free- that toned up my legs and tum while burning endless calories. And 40 mins of that goes by so quickly -you won't even realise you've done it!!

Healthy and eat diet plans-gosh i have loads.

To lose weight the healthy way your looking at taking in 1200 calories a day. It is important to snack on healthy stuff particularly fruit (apples are amazing as there low calorie very filling) Any fruit is great though...

For every meal you have - lunch and dinner fill up on veg-as much as you want!! Make sure your getting a good breakfast for example eggs and brown toast or porridge with fruit and nuts... this will kick your metabolism into gear and stop you craving other foods.

Keep your meals balanced and NEVER starve. If your hungry it means you should eat but just don't go to the cookie jar. If you stick to 12000 a day you will lose at least 2 pounds a week.

One of the most important things when trying to lose weight and i cannot stress it enough is tracking down every food that goes in your mouth!! Write it down.. keep a diary..anything!! I mean i use an online tracking calorie tool that i put all my foods in and it tracks everything i eat- if you want to try that out its on www.makemyplate.co. That will control your calories each day and will bleep red when you go over your cals-also you can look at peoples ideas and use them as your own!

Well i hope it all goes ok and I'm hundred percent sure you will look absolutely stunning at your prom!!

All the best and good luck!! :)

What are some tips in attending prom?

Do’sBuy your dress WAY in advance - you don’t have to stress about buying a dress a week before prom.Wear comfortable shoes - it’s not cute to have to take off your shoes for the rest of the night because your feet are killing you. You can still be stylish.Bring extra makeup - if your skin gets a little oily or dry you have some powder available.Take many photos - people generally only go to prom once. You want your memories of the event to last you forever.Dont’sShow too much skin - make sure your dress isn’t too short. You don’t want to be pulling it down the whole night, especially when dancing. That’s not cool.Be insecure of your height - being the same height as your date isn’t a bad thing. Don’t try to seem shorter than you actually are. Flaunt it!Overdo the makeup - don’t go overboard with the eyeshadow and end up looking like a clown.Try any new products the day before - tanning, facials, etc. Anything that is permanent could cause a reaction to your skin. At least do a trial run 3 days before in case something goes wrong.Freak out - stay calm. Don’t stress about your date, your dress, or your makeup. As long as you plan things in advance everything should go your way!

Freshmen going to Prom... tips ?

Haha me and my best friend bought tickets to go to prom and were using our two junior friends as covers for "dates" but yeaa since i'm only a freshmen I'm thinking about getting a shorter dress since I'm only a fresh and stuff but do you any tips I'm kinds nervous and don't really know how much different Ir is then homecoming plus I actualy seriously like my date I'm using as my cover ;D lol

What kind of prom dress will look good with small bust, very straight blonde hair, turquoise eyes, and small lips?

It’s likely that you know at least one person with enough fashion sense to answer that question for you. If you, personally, have no idea, you really should consult someone who is good at that. There may be some art student at school who is interested in fashion and they are often willing to help dress someone even if you don’t know them well.Every year I see 2 or 3 prom-goers who wear something that is horrendous on them.

Where are good stores to look for prom dresses in Chattanooga?

there's a place on lee highway... if you're going south on 153 (towards hamilton place) and turn right off the lee highway exit, it's in the little set of buildings there... called pratos, i think... something like that.

How to look nice in a prom dress when you suffer from eczema?

I had eczema when I was a baby but for some reason it went away in a year but as soon as I turned 13, I started my GCSE's and the eczema started again... I am now 15 and have tried everything to stop the eczema from your typical Hydrocortisone creams to weird little bath bombs. It's really annoying me and it hurts when I do ballet rehearsals, and I can see people talking about it at school, especially during PE..
But, next year (2012) I have my end of year 11 prom which I am looking forward to and I want to look lovely but I am worried that people will be looking more at my legs, arms, back and face not my lovely dress. Any tips on how to look nice at prom but with eczema?
Any tips or help would be really appreciated because this is the last thing to try before giving up, basically! :)

Are puffy dresses good for prom?

If when you say puffy you are talking about ball gowns then yes. Ball gowns reign supreme every season but especially this year.Ball Gowns can be a lot of dress so just make sure that you really want one. Lol.They used to be all tulle, hoop skirts and petticoats. But now they come in a lot of different colors, fabrics, and patterns. Many now also have lots of embellishments. You can get one that is high-low. You can get one that is a two piece. And some even have pocket!Read more about prom fashion over on my blog: Shopaholic's Closet

How to be the prettiest girl at prom?

ok first you need to find the perfect dress. Try not to make it a long dress, those come across as too old...
Curl you hair.. try a sweet selection of makeup instead of Goth looking. Add sparkly eye shadow, mascara, blush and foundation...

Here are some nice dresses:

Where can I find some ideas for prom makeup?

Prom make up can be difficult depending on your style and your dress.I would always recommend a natural smokey eye with a nude lip if you want to go for the more traditional prom look. Something like these…Or if you want to keep up with the latest trend you could get it natural but incorporate some glow! Dewy, illuminating looks are huge right now and would work perfect for prom. Something like this would be beautiful…If you are slightly more glam.. think classic hollywood! Winged eyeliner with red lips is a gorgeous option for your prom if you want something classic but different. This look would look gorgeous if you were wearing a black or nude dress….If you are all about glitter go for colours that complement your dress and please please do not got OTT! If you are wearing red or navy pairing with a gold glitter eye is always a winner! Match it with a nude lip and your golden!!If your all about the lips and want to be daring I would grab hold of your inner grunge vibes and go for a deep maroon or purple and match it with a natural “no make up” eye. This look would best suit a dress that will not clash with the dark lip - think silver or nudes! It’s out there and not traditional prom but it is amazing!!PINK PINK PINK! Another option for prom perfect for the summer seasons and is the perfect look for you girly girls! Think corals, oranges, reds and mauve paired with a highlighted dewy glow. Beautiful.Your prom style should match your personality. If classic is the way you want to go then great! but don’t be afraid to overstep boundaries if that is what you are into! Some advice! don’t put to much makeup on: if you look to caked it is not a good look! especially when you are wearing a killer dress. Always use a setting spray: it will keep your face looking fresh and your makeup will keep the whole day! And have fun!! No matter what you go for you will look beautiful!!!R xx
