Tips Or Advice To Lower My Truck

I can't park my truck! I need tips and advice fast!!?

Okay so, this is really embarrasing but I can't park my moms ford f-150 perpendicularly. No, not parallel, but perpendicular. The easy, straight spaces that are probably the most common in America and look like this: | | | | | | | down the row.

I consider myself a good driver and I would never endanger anyone else on the road if I felt I wasn't always in control of my vehicle and aware of my surroundings..

anyways, please! Someone give me some advice or tips on how to do this! No matter how slow I go I just can't seem to fit in between the cones.. I can angle park easily.. in drivers ed they taught you to start turning when the line hits your front tire, and I just slip right in perfectly every single time.

Ten shiny (and quick) best answer points to anyone who can help! I have a test tommorow morning and I'm planning on leaving in about 30 minutes to go do some more practicing

How can I make my truck louder?

I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500. What is a cheaper way to make my truck exhaust louder. Is there a different way to make it sound cooler and louder than buying a whole new exhaust system? Any advice will help!

Tipping angle for trucks?

Towing a trailer would INCREASE the chance of rollover. The biggest problem you will have is ramps and turns. The bigger the truck the heavier it weighs so it would reduce the likely hood of rollover.

What are good driving tips for a short person?

Since you asked for driving tips, and not solutions:1) Get a wedge-shaped cushion for the driver seat. These don't slide as much as using a regular pillow or cushion (they can slide under you when in an emergency situation, causing the seat belt to loosen and leaving you more prone to injuries)2) Invest in "pedal extenders" which are relatively cheap, and can be changed from car-to-car. This will avoid you having to move the seat so far forward that you endanger yourself by being too close to the air bag.3) Tilt the steering wheel, if possible, so that the top of the wheel is roughly level with your shoulders. This will give you better control, as well as improving your visibility.4) MOST IMPORTANTLY, have a friend walk around your car with a few drinking cups. Have them walk away from the car in different locations, until you, sitting in the driver seat, cannot see their legs below the knees. Have them mark each spot with a drinking cup. You will, eventually, have an area similar to this, to mark the "blind area" of your vehicle. Get to know these areas, so you know your visual limitations.5) Practice in a parking lot to determine your "visual reference clues". Examples are: lining up the curb with the center of your hood, or lining up stop lines with your mirrors, and so forth. No matter how short you may be (my wife is 4'10" and she uses these tips also), you will be able to know where you are in the relationship to traffic and curbs and stop points, IF you learn to know your car. Here's a few reference point examples:Notice where the STOP line is directly underneath the mirror? This will result in your stopping about 1-2 feet before the stop line, like this:Good luck with your driving!

Any tips for itchy pubic hair after shaving?

have u heard of Drapolene cream? it's in a pink tube and commonly used by babies to stop nappy rash. u can try that, it works on me and most women in my family when we have to stop the itch down there. ;) or u can try applying any nappy rash cream, preferably something mild. maybe u can also try Eurax cream but it's not so advisable though it helps to reduce itchiness. never ever apply deodorant or any scented lotion, it'll worsen the problem. or maybe u can shave everyday. it shd help stop the itch. otherwise, go for a brazillian wax! xxx

What are your best packing and moving tips that’ll help me be less stressed with the whole moving process?

Depending on where you live, there are some places or people that you can get free boxes from for packing, or they are provided for you when you shop(like No Frills in Canada). I recommend checking Craigslist or something similar for people giving out free cardboard boxes or moving materials. I'm guessing you already have a U-Haul truck in mind for moving, unless you don't have alot of stuff then you can use your car and make a few trips back and fourth. If you're moving too far away from where you are now and that option is out of the question, rent a moving truck and get a friend who has a trucking licence to drive it, if you don't want to spend money on movers, which can also sometimes be careless with your merchandise(I've seen it happen to my stuff). If you have big stuff like couches and wall cabinets, I suggest you take them out of the house first and put them in the bottom of the pile in the truck. These are the heaviest and least likely to be damaged if you stack things like boxes full of crap on top of them. Put the couches, chairs, tables, cabinets, first. Fold the chairs and tables into eachother. If you have glass table tops or whatever rectangular or circular glass surface that detaches from it's original component, or windows and doors lol, put them behind a couch or something soft that's not going to break them while you drive the truck but so you can press them firmly enough against the wall of the trailer. If you have easily breakable things like little porcelain girl from the movie Oz, then wrap them around in newspapers and put them in a box that you will either take with you the way you take your carry on luggage, aka in your car instead of in the truck, or put them on top of the pile in the truck. All the heavy crap on the bottom, all the light and delicate things on top, and secure them in place the way you would play a game of gentle tetris, so they don't fall off or tip over or fall into a hole between the TV and the dining room dresser. Same with TV, put it on top but make sure you secure it. If you can, put it against the wall of the truck, especially with flat screen TV's.
