How can I make a girl happy during her period?

I had been dating my partner for a few months when I woke up one morning and had completely bled on his sheets. We have always been really open about everything, but I was totally mortified and felt really bad. I offered to clean his sheets, buy him new ones, whatever, while on the brink of tears. He just grabbed me really tight and said “you’re beautiful and everything your body does is beautiful.” And then he washed the sheets himself, went out and bought me tampons and a heating pad. I will never forget the kindness and understanding he showed, as even growing up in a house with 3 girls, my dad was always completely grossed out by even the mentioning of a menstrual cycle. So, my recommendation is to listen to her, let her talk about it without shoving your fingers in your ears, and let her know her body and all its processes are magical, natural, and beautiful. Oh, and chocolate if she likes it. Lots of chocolate.UPDATE: Wow! I’m humbled by all of your kind words of encouragement in the comments. He certainly is a keeper, and for those who asked we’re still happily together!:)
