Is It Too Late To Become A Good Singer?

If you're trying to be a famous singer. I'm going to be honest with you; not gonna happen. If you really enjoy singing than there is nothing wrong with wanting to get better. You're never to old to start training your voice. Pavarotti sang into is 60's. My voice teacher is 58 and still sounds like a nightengale. I knew that I was talented as a kid but i didn't start working on my craft until I was a senior in High School. I've been in so many performing groups. I've watched people come in with no talent and suck worse than William Hung, turn it around in a year or two. Some people are born with great ears for music and pitch, and some just have to try harder. Don't give up on singing ever. It is one of the greatest gifts to share. I hope this helped even a little.

At what age is it too late to become famous?

I wish I had dedicated myself to music simply for the love of music, being famous is secondary. But when I was younger lots of people I knew speculated that I would be famous someday, it's kind of sad that I know it could have happened and passed me by.

When is it too late to become YouTube famous?

I just want to preface this by saying that I don't want to do this JUST for the sake of fame, or money.

I have a passion for music and art, and I have something to say that I just want to share with people, and I want to connect with people. Having a YouTube channel and attracting a significant demographic of viewers is a long term dream of mine, but I feel very insecure because of my age (34).

I am depressed about my age. I wish I was still young and I get depressed because I feel that my age stands in the way of my dreams in life, and I often feel like I'm too old for any of my dreams to come true. I was making my New Year's resolutions and I want to pursue this. I want it bad. Is 34 too old to have dreams? Would my age hold me back?

Is there an age at which it's impossible?

Thanks if you can help me.

Is it too late to become a famous musician in your 20s?

No.But 99.9% of musicians do not become famous. And famous musicians are famously prone to depression and substance abuse, suggesting being famous is not as desirable as it seems.Perhaps a better musical goal would be to make people's lives better with your music. My greatest lasting satisfaction as a musician is hearing one person say how my song touched them.

I am 16 and want to be a famous singer. Is it too late to start? What should I do to become famous?

No, it’s not too late but in my experience people who do something for the sole purpose of “fame” don’t usually succeed.Do you like singing? Do you love it? If the answer to that is no, you will have a hard time accomplishing this goal. Do you know what many famous singers have in common? The feeling that there is nothing else in the world that they want to do, like music is all there is and that it’s better to be a starving musician than it is to be in any other career. Also, how are you with disappointment and rejection? It can be very personal to put yourself out there with performing. You may find that criticism of your voice feels very personal and to succeed you’ll have to get over yourself, listen carefully to what people tell you and figure out how to discern good advice from bad.Anyway, I’m not trying to discourage you before you start but just encourage you to be honest with yourself. So, having said that, start training, start practicing. Find a good vocal coach, work with them and give it your all. If you can’t afford to pay for private lessons, join a choir and find some good internet teachers (ones with good credentials). Start a youtube channel and a soundcloud but be prepared to realistically assess yourself, it’s much better to figure out your own flaws than to wait to hear it from strangers on the internet.Good luck!
