Too Much Pain Due To Hemmoroids Pls Help

Could these be herpes or hemorrhoids? PLEASE HELP?

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend of 7 months ten days ago. I know I messed up on that but I can't change that anymore we had unprotected sex before and I didn't notice anything different about my body. Only a small lump right on the outside of my rectum but it was painless and I didn't think it had anything to do with sex. I paid little attention to it. Well the thing this time is he did it in my anus. Three days later I started to have pain when I sat down, walked, made bowel movements, even when I would lie down. When I was showering, I felt the lump was swollen and I also discovered a new lump. The second day of pain, I got sick and threw up. Automatically, I assumed I had hemorrhoids. I have read that the stretch of the rectum can cause hemorrhoids so I thought this might be the case. I bought some Preparation H along with Witch Hazel. But last night while bathing, I felt that they weren't only two anymore. There was plenty of lumps and they were small. Could these be herpes? I have read that an STD can't show up that quick but I'm not sure. This frightens me and I am too embarrassed to talk to anyone about it. Not to mention the excruciating, unbearable pain I am experiencing. What could this be? Please help.

Please HELP, Hemorrhoids Hurt !?

Drink lots of liquids to help keep your stools soft. As someone else said, Anusol has hydrocorisone in it and it's helpful as well. Sitting in a bath for 20 minutes is supposed to help as well (personally, I found hot baths to be very uncomfortable, but it is supposed to help reduce the swelling . . . they just gave me hot flashes!).

It does take time for them to get better. Use wet wipes instead of dry tissue so you don't aggravate them further.

Help, if i have hemorrhoids how can i make it go away without going to the doctor..?

The number one thing to do is make sure you wipe with a cleansing cloth (Preparation H makes them). Don;t dry wipe!! Then, soak in a warm bath as much as possible. When you go to the bathroom...DON'T STRAIN! You can also take anti-inflammatories like Advil for the pain. Also use Prep H cream on it.

Painful internal hemorrhoids, please help?

sacredbrittni,
Your stated high fibre diet is a good place to start. This will reduce the risk of constipation and the straining to pass a stool that can make haemorrhoids worse. The general recommendations are to eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables (at least five portions every day). Cut down on fat (especially animal fat), sugary food, refined and processed food. Eat plenty of pulses (eg peas, beans, lentils). Eat plenty of wholegrain foods (use the wholemeal varieties of bread, pasta and breakfast cereals). Only drink alcohol in moderation. For most people with haemorrhoids, the condition is mild and can be treated with over the counter (OTC) medicines that tackle the symptoms, usually in the form of ointments or suppositories. Haemorrhoids caused by pregnancy may go away after the baby has been born. Various preparations and brands are commonly used. They do not 'cure' haemorrhoids. However, they may ease symptoms such as discomfort and itching. A bland soothing cream, ointment, or suppository may ease discomfort. They can be used as often as you like. Several brands are available without a prescription. One that contains an anaesthetic may ease pain better. You should only use these for short periods at a time (5-7 days). If you use it for longer, the anaesthetic may irritate or sensitise the skin around the anus. You would be advised to ask your local pharmacist for advice on this matter. If the condition does not improve within a week or two, you may be advised to consult your doctor who may prescribe ointments containing cortisone which relieves the inflammation and reduces swelling around the haemorrhoid(s).

My hemorrhoid hurts so bad I can't work...please help.?

Embarrassing I know, but I have a hemorrhoid. I had one or two before when I was pregnant, but not for a long time. I looked up all the causes and don't know what caused mine. It just appeared out of the blue. I work as a server and I have been working lots of hours and I guess maybe being on my feet so much could have caused it. It doesn't itch like others say they do, but mine hurts. I can push it back up but then within a few minutes it is back out. I have had it for 5 days. I got the pads, suppositories, and cooling gel. I stayed off my feet the past day and was feeling better- then went to the store tonight and within 45 minutes of walking it was back out and hurting me so bad. I am suppose to work all weekend...any suggestions???

How do I handle my Hemorrhoid Pain and missing school because of it? Please Help!?

Hello, people of Yahoo! I am suffering from a somewhat small hemorrhoid that causes immense pain whenever I poop and wipe myself. I ve lived with this pain since I was a boy, but none of my family knew what was wrong with me...until now. I ve seen a doctor that said it was an hemorrhoid and he prescribed me some cream to help shrink it. The cream helps, but the pain is quite painful. It s my senior year and I ve missed 8 days this year and I m now trying to get behind, I know I m gonna have tons of work to catch up on, but If I go to school I ll be sitting on my pain and walking all day.My parents are pressuring me to go to school and how I m "cutting it close" this year when I am under the care of a doctor and have excuses. The sad thing is I was absent Mon and Tues, got up to take a poop and that pain returned immediately so know I m sad because I think I might end up missing this whole week. I know I can make up the work and I ll just have to make sure I don t miss any school in the future so I can graduate, I just don t know What do you think about this whole situation?

Horrible Hemorrhoid! Please help...?

I believe I have an external hemorrhoid...one of the thrombosis ones...or however you say it...it just sprang up yesterday...today it's borderline excruciating...I need some suggestions on which position to lay to reduce the swelling...I really can't do much about it right now...I have no Preparation H, and the only medicines I have are Advil and Aspirin...which I read, only increases the blood flow and would make matters worse...I just took a warm bath, and that did nothing....I put ice on it...it helped some...but it's awkward doing that, lol...and plus it's too cold, obviously, and only made me more miserable...I figured if I could lay a certain way, it'd reduce the swelling and hopefully I could get some relief and make it go away quicker...sorry, this is so embarrassing and painful...I just want some help...I realllllllllllly appreciate the advice, guys and gals...thanks!
