Why am I getting array index out of bounds exception?

Why are so many Sikhs now trimming their beards?
Prime reason is, Sikhs don't have any role model to look upto and get inspired towards our religion. Yes we do have stories of our Gurus to get inspiration to become honest, brave and a generous person but somehow there is nothing for us which motivates us to keep the rituals in tact.I trim beard, wax my body but have not cut my head hair and will never do. I realise that its wrong and I am going to pay for my sins. But I keep on doing enough good things daily to strike a balance. Few reasons why Sikh boys trim beard these days are:It looks better and goes nice with cap.Lot of time get saved incase you need to go out in emergency. In open beard you need to tie with hair fixer gel or with some pins.It makes you look younger. No offence but when I had lose beard, some of my friends told me that i look 35, the moment they saw me trimmed, they compared me with Virat Kohli.Sikh Girls dislike lose beard too. Almost every girl i met, even my sisters, they don't like men with lot of beard. It was a shock of my life. This may sound harsh, but its a reality. In 20s one is not mature enough and then they go for trimming or even hair cut.Impact of Jatts. Punjab is dominated by Jatts who seldom keep beard and most of them have their hair cut. These Jatts used to make fun of Khatri Sardars in colleges/schools by calling names like ‘bhapa’, ‘ghuggi’, ‘babba’ ‘gyani’ etc. This hurts them and most of the Khatri Sardars too end up having their haircut or trimming.Note: in last 10 years or so, i have realised that Sikhism nosedived big time. Blame it on fashion or laziness of Sikhs who find it hard to squeeze out time to tie beard and turban. It is very hard to find ‘saabat’ Sikhs in Punjab nowadays. Most of them are monkeys like me who cut their beard and wear caps. I am feeling so ashamed writing this answer but its too late now.
