Trick My Teacher Will It Work

Can you teach an old dog new tricks?

Is she to old to learn new tricks?
No not in the least bit. Actually dogs are not considered old till there 8 years of age. In human years, she is equivalent to a 35 year old woman. And 35 year olds are still young. And a 35 year old learns things each and everyday. The term "you cant teach a old dog new ticks" Is not correct.

Can this be accomplished in the amount of time I have?
Yes i believe so. Dogs are smart animals. And labs are very quick learners. I believe if you work hard everyday you can.

What types of things can I have her do?
Well following what you have said, You want her to act out a book. What are somethings the book says? You can have her sit up for some parts and speak for other parts. It totally depends.

Do you have any other suggestions?

What is the trick to impress your teacher for good LOR (Letter of Recommendation)?

Thank you for the A2A Nitin Agrawal. Also my apologies for the delay in answering.Tricks to impress? Oh that’s a big NO!It is a letter of recommendation. It serves the purpose of being a validation of your academic and professional experiences. It is a document that provides a third person insight about your candidature and gives the reviewer a glimpse of your weakness as well as team skills and leadership capabilities.Considering the above stated facts, “tricking” your teacher for a good recommendation letter will only lead to getting a negative letter or something not so great. Not something we would want isn't it?On the other hand, if you want to get a good letter of recommendation, you should just be yourself. Be frank, open and truthful. Your teacher hasn't gotten to their current position overnight. They've worked hard and have gained experience to get here today. They can easily see through your facade. Ask the professor/teacher who has seen you grow from the start to present time for a letter. Their letters matter a lot for they speak a lot about you and for you. Ask teachers who have helped you and been a mentor in your education. These are what I would call “tricks” to get a letter of recommendation.Cheers!

Can a teacher notice 12.5 font?

I need to make my essay longer and I am running out of ideas. I changed my periods to 14 font and I changed my text font to 12.5. I only am turning in a hard copy. Will the teacher be able to notice?

Will a teacher notice if I increase the font size of periods to make my paper longer?

How much time did it take to go through your paper and change the font size of every period? In the same amount of time, you could have been thinking about an additional paragraph or two that would add SUBSTANCE as well as length. Keep that in mind and put your time to good use.

That said, a previous answer noted that content is what most professors are seeking. Length doesn't necessarily equal strong content, but most teachers have learned the hard way that unless some recommendations for length are given, some slacker will try to answer a 10 page topic with a half page of information. If I expected 15 pages but you only needed 12 to answer with excellence, I wouldn't be concerned and I think most professors would agree.

If your paper gained two pages just because the space between lines was opened up by a few points, it was a fairly lengthy piece to begin with. If the thinking was strong and the writing was solid, you probably didn't need to waste your time changing the size of periods.

Incidentally, it isn't the size of the period that made the difference; it is the 15 point leading between lines. You could have simply left all the type at 12 point and changed the overall to 12/15 and it would have had the same effect.

My teacher asks trick questions, isnt that unfair?

They are not trick questions.

You are at an age where simple knowledge is not what the class is looking for. anyone can memorize a list.

You are being asked to apply your knowledge and do some critical thinking. It will be this way in college - so start learning how to best approach this type of question.

How To Get Revenge on Your Teacher?

Good luck. Remember the teacher has pretty much seen everything.

The real problem, the teacher can affect your grade quite easily, takes almost no effort.

Second the teacher will tell other teachers.

Not a good thing.

BTW: I would take them and then you could reclaim them at the end of the school year. That is not the last day of school, it is the day after the last day of school
