It doesnt let you simply search her name you have to click on your froends list (where is shows how many friends are online) and you can click on the icon that says add to friends or something like that and you simply type her name in and click add it should send her a friend request and there you go you will be friends with her ^^ when she accepts it she will be added to your friends list and then you can search for here there .
