Trying To Get A Interstate Transfer From Nyc To Ga

How do I transfer SNAP benefits to another state if I move to another state but remain resident in the first?

Reporting changes for SNAP requires that you report a change at your application, re-determination or FS IR. It is ILLEGAL to receive SNAP in more than one state though and can be punishable to a 10 year disqualification from the program. You need to cancel your SNAP benefits in the state you are currently receiving and then call the state in which you are moving to and inform them of your move to their state and when your SNAP is ending in the state you came from. If you dont have your driver license or ID card in the new state you can always prove your move by a rent receipt or a bill or something showing you are now living in their state.

Price of nj transit interstate monthly bus pass (carteret to nyc)?

I believe Carteret is is Zone 6, so a monthly pass to the Port Authority Bus Terminal will cost $216.

If you're going Lower Manhattan, you can save time and money by taking the NJT #62 bus to Elizabeth, transferring to a train to Newark Penn Station, and then taking the PATH. The fare will be $85 for the bus and train, and then $54 for a monthly PATH pass.

I hope this information was very helpful.

Is it hard to get an interstate-transfer in the army national guard?

Call the JFHQ in the new state and ask for the tranfer coordinator. They will complete and fax you the paper work to give to your unit, they will find you a slot as well. You will need to clear the unit and then have any officer in your home state to swear you into the new state right then and there. then refax the paperwork to the new state you will have 60 days to report. This is like the easiest thing to do. Once you have done it you will look back and so what the heck....that was easy. I transferred twice in the guard, I done it once in less than an hour. Also, any national guard recruiter can do it as well, they get a small credit for your enlistment into the new state, so they are willing to help. OH AND WHATEVER YOU DO...........DON'T MENTION THE DEPLOYMENT POSSIBILITY TO THE NEW STATE..........Also hurry to get this done before its too late. And don't let anyone in your unit talk you out of it.........believe me they will. Deal directly with the transfer at all times, to avoid your paperwork being accidently lost if you know what I mean. Do all the contacting your self its much faster, plus your unit will sit on it forever if you let them do it. Make the call, get the paperwork, take your CIF and anything else you need when you take the paperwork to your unit so you can clear right then and there. Best to do it at drill to get everything done, because everyone is there. And don't forget you will need any officer from lt to general to swear you in while at your unit to complete your paperwork, once u swear in its done. MAKE COPIES OF YOUR DOCUMENTS.

If someone has a bench warrant in one state, could that person be arrested in another state for that same bench warrant?

I have read almost all of these answers. I am originally from Indiana, and the state places a rider on all their misdemeanor warrants that it is enforcable only within state boundaries. Now, I seen almost all of the answers her are from people with law enforcment back grounds. Not to upset anyone but police officers do not spend the time and money attorneys do on an education. When there is a rider on the warrent it is placing a legal jurisdiction or enforcement on that warrent. And that warrent is then only a legal document in the boundaries of jurisdiction of that document. Outside of that it is worthless, nothing more than toilet paper. So it is my understanding that it you are out of jurisdiction of the warrent as stated on the warrent (which at the time the officer runs a check it is stated there it) and arrest you only on the basis of that warrant then they have commited a legal kidnapping and have falsely arrested you due to the fact the officer already knows the jurisdiction of the warrent and what the intent of the issueing court is on the extradition. So yes you should take care of the warrent as soon as you can, but understand that if you are checked and you are in fact outside the limits of the warrent. It is no longer a legal document and can not be enforced at any cost just like a city police officer had NO jurisdiction in another city that is not within his state. In fact if that police office from NV came to my state of Florida and tried to use his badge in a official capacity he would be arrested for impersonating an office. If the law is like that for the jurisdiction of a person what do you think they would be for a pirce of paper. And remember to alway demand (not ask) to see the warrent and to read it completely before you sign it. Some jails have been known to pass off the warrent as extradition papers just to get you to sign the warrant. Sorry to any law enforcement officer i may have upset.

If Puerto Rico is part of the Usa, Can I Transfer my Probation ther?If UR on felony probation n PR is it hard?

To transfer your probation to Puerto Rico, your PO would have to send it through the Interstate Compact... And yes, Puerto Rico is part of the Interstate Compact (it's a U.S. territory)...

As far as how hard probation is Puerto Rico or where to move there, I can't help you out with those questions... Puerto Rico is a pretty good ways away from Indiana...

My driver's license is suspended in a different state. What does that mean for the state (PA) I'm living in?

It depends on where its suspended.Five states don't participate in the Drivers License Compact, which is an interstate agreement to share driving records between states. They are:GeorgiaMassachusettsMichiganTennesseeWisconsinFor example: My friend has a suspended license in Georgia from an unpaid ticket. His GA license was suspended. Georgia does not participate in the DLC, therefore his Florida license is still valid and usable. If your license is suspended in New York, it will be suspended in all states (except for maybe those five states that don't participate)So where was your license suspended? If it wasn't on that list of five states, then you're PA license is currently invalid. If it was, then you should be good.

Can an Uber driver pick up in different states when traveling?

Yes, but only in certain circumstances. A driver may request their account be temporarily activated for use in a faraway state. When several states are near each other Uber generally sets up every driver in area to able to take requests in all of the states, except when local regulations prevent doing so. Special permits costing several thousand dollars are required for New York City for instance. NJ based drivers are allowed to drive in CT, DE and PA but not NY due to NY (except new york city if they have permits) due to NY rules

How does the NJ transit work?

I've been asking a lot of questions about transportation cause I just moved to Nj and I haven't even been here a month. I recently visited NY and I would like to return often for work and classes. I don't understand how the NJ transit works. When I went the first time my friend said we were on an express bus and bought a round trip? We got there and back on the same bus. But the buses in NYC are so complicated. Idk which one goes I which and what times they arrive or even how to purchase tickets. I see hundred of people that travel there and back no problem. Also, how do they afford to ride the bus to NYC everyday? Is it cause its a better decision to live in NJ but work in NYC?

How does Atlanta compare to New York City in terms of driving a car and traffic?

In Atlanta, it's extremely difficult to live without a car. Our public transit system, MARTA, is very limited. There is one main interstate running to the NE, one running up North and another running NW. There's one running East-West and then one that circles the metro-area around the perimeter. Each of these highways are at least 4 lanes, which sounds like a lot until rush hour hits, when every commuting employed person hits the road. Outside of rush hour, you can get to pretty much anywhere within 30 minutes. A 30 minute commute during rush hour is easily an hour and 15 minutes plus. Although traffic sucks during rush hour, in NYC it seems there's ALWAYS traffic, a gazillion cars stacked on top of each other, people hitting your car with blatant disregard, and the onslaught of pedestrians and bikers that seem to be dying to get hit. The smartest thing to do if considering Atlanta is to live & work in the same general area. Atlanta really is just a series of neighborhoods, so getting around within your neighborhood is a breeze.
