Trying To Keep My Yahoo Page

I keep trying to make the new yahoo web page my home page, but it doesn't work. Advice?

Before you start, read this whole thing!!!!!

Before you start, read this whole thing!!!!!

You may even want to print it so that you have it handy.

===============================

Go to your My Yahoo! page and then do this:

Click on TOOLS>INTERNET OPTIONS>

At the top of the dialog box you will see a box labeled "Home Page." Click on the button that says "Use Current."

If this does not work, then your Windows Registry has some other program changing the homepage to something else. You can try changing your registry to correct it.

First - click on the home button of your browser. Highlight and copy the address from the address bar to keep it in your clipboard.

Then press the "Windows" button and the "R" key at the same time.

Type REGEDIT into the little box that appears.

Now your registry editor is open on your screen.

Make sure that "My Computer" is highlighted in the left panel of the box.

Click on EDIT then click FIND.

In the FIND box paste in the address from your browser.

Press ENTER.

It may take a few seconds, but eventually the search will stop on the first entry with that address in it. When it does, it will highlight the entry.

Double click that entry and in the "Value Data" box type in the address for your My Yahoo! Usually something like "http://my.yahoo.com/p/d.html".

Now click OK.

Press F3 to find the next entry and repeat pasting your My Yahoo! address into the "Value Data" box.

Keep doing that until you see the message "Finished Searching through the registry."

You probably have at least 6 to 18 entries, depending on the software installed on your computer.

Once you get the message that the search is completed, close the registry editor. It saves itself when it closes.

Restart your computer and your browser should automatically go to your My Yahoo! page.

By the way, one of the most common reasons you cannot use the Internet Tools method is because of spy ware. Visit one of the tons of online scanners to check your system before you start this whole process.

Good luck!!

I keep trying to make My Yahoo my home page, and it keeps reverting back to Comcast. How do I do I do it?

In internet explorer, go to the yahoo home page (www.yahoo.com). While there, select "tools" from the top of the browser, then "options."

On the "general" tab, the top choice is where to set your home page. If you are on yahoo, that address should show up in the blank. . hit the "use current" button to set it there, followed by apply.

As much as she lies to you, you were her rebound. She's treated you appallingly. I think you should move on. Forget her, he can cheat and do all sorts and you can treat her like a princess but she still wants him- doesn't that tell you anything? Move on, you deserve better. The chemistry and memories her and him have is too much for her to give him up just yet. Sorry if I sound harsh, just giving you some tough love! Goodluck

People keep trying to seperate me and my boo?

do not pay attention to what other people think. try not to be influenced by their negative attitude. it is good that a popular girl is going out with a non-popular guy. it shows that your feelings for him go beyond the usual "i'm popular, my boo should be popular too". your boo is a lucky guy. not what happens to your relationship is now in your hands. show a little maturity by paying attention to your boo and not what other people say...it is between you too only... if you get influenced by your friends against this guy, they i guess your feelings for him are not that serious after all.
