hello there! I used to weigh 68kgs when i was 15years old with height 5ft 1inch. Everybody used to tease and mock me by saying elephant, fatty, and many more. But one day i got news that my neighbor died due to overweight. This incident struck my mind badly, well that was my turning point. Initially I used to seek internet for weight losing techniques, many explained many ways but it didn’t helped or convinced me. I'm 165 pounds and trying to lose weight until 140 pounds in 4 months. Can I make it?

First tip - work all your muscles.

Muscles make it easier to lose weight. So work each and every muscle group.

The most important thing about you diet is your macros - that means your split of macronutrients.
You need to focus on protein, then carbs and little fat (40/40/20 is a very common split and is easy to achieve without 'tracking calories')

Eat good quality protein: sirloin steak, egg whites, fish, chicken

Eat complex carbs: oats, brown rice, quinoa, brown bread.

Eat less fat, but if you eat them, eat healthy fat: eggs (in moderation), nuts, olive oil.

Glass of milk is okay a day, but opt out for skimmed milk.
Bananas are deceptively calorie high. They have a lot of carbs and sugars. Again, 1 a day won't kill you but no more.
Starchy vegetables are great. Just go for normal all around veggies: carrots, tomatoes, cucumber, asparagus etc etc
Fruits are good for you, but for a diet no so much. Eat some, but little.
Cheat days - well my personal opinion is that they are for weak people. If you want to lose weight and you can - you don't need cheat days. They are a big 'shock' to your diet. If you eat well and you like what you eat - you don't need cheat days.

Having said that, an icecream onc every 2 weeks is not going to mess up your goal, just don't eat a pizza every week.

Advice -
1) Drink a lot of water. At least 2 litters a day
2) Vary your cardio. HIIT runs are better for you (google it)
3) Enjoy what you eat, try to make good stuff with it. Don't look at it as a diet, look at it as a change of lifestyle
4) Eat smaller portions throughout the day. There is no scientific benefit to this, but it's esier and tastier to split your meals to once every 2-3 hours. It also combats hunger very nicely

Overall, your goal of 6-7 pounds a bunch is achievable, but it will be very hard.

15 year old trying to lose weight...?

hello!~ im 15( 16 next month) and i am trying to lose weight. my height is 5 foot5 and i weigh 176.5 pounds. my goal weight is 140 pounds. hopefully lost by the end of july. :D i just bought an excersise ball today with those rubber band things you stretch to strengthen your muscles. i wanted to know how much i had to work with that stuff each day to lose weight? thanks! other advice is also welcome :D

Can I lose 40 pounds in 3 months?

I'm seriously so depressed in my body. I am 19 years old and have always been fat since my abusive stepdad overfed and forced me trying to make me uglier and fatter than his daughter. He tried poisoning me, and abused me and her in other ways. I almost feel like this weight I have on me is giving in to what he wanted and an old memory of him. I've lost 20 pounds. or 18. It's been like a lifelong journey to lose weight and I just never got to how I wanted to be. I am 5'3 and 188 pounds/85.2 kg. I really want to change my life but it "feels" impossible to stop. I overeat, or "binge eat" and I cant control it sometimes. But this time I will. But I need to ask, is it possible for me to lose weight fast before I become discouraged? I have stretch marks all over my tummy and hips. They arent bad. But they are there. and my arms. which dont look as bad in the picture I posted. I'm most insecure about. I'm afraid of looking like a flabby mess.. Just please help me. I feel like I'm so worthless and pathetic. I really want to get down to.. 135-140 pounds..

How long will it take to go from 210 pounds to 140 pounds?

Brianna i cant eat wheat as i have an intolerance, i have cut it out of my dfiet for 5 years now. i cant eat certain fruits either as they cause bad stomach aches. i am fat as i eat sweets mostly, i never have chips, take aways, i dont drink alcohol, i rarely eat chocolate. i think i also eat too much cereal and carbs like wheat free pasta. i think my portion sizes are too big actually. i havent had a baby, im 20 and a full time student so half hour walk to and from uni.
