To maintain your weight according to your height, weight, and sex, you need to consume about 1400 calories. So if you want to lose weight you have to eat less than that number. 800 calories seems to be a good fit for you if that's what you want. But I would suggest to take it slowly and consume at least 1000 calories. Therefore you lose 400 calories a day. Just as long as you consume less than 1400 calories you're going to lose weight in the long run.

There's a healthy approach to this. Eat six times a day to keep your metabolism going with 166 calories per meal to equal about 1000 calories. That's unhealthy for most because you're only consuming so much. Or your breakfast, lunch, and dinner can have 250 calories each with your other three meals having 83 calories.

I would workout for muscle building rather than strength training because a strength training workout is about gaining strength whereas a muscle building workout focuses on muscle building and more muscle means more calories burned. Those are two completely different workouts.

Along with the cardio you're definitely going to end up with an empty stomach often and that's not good. If you're going to add exercises to your routine, your daily calorie intake would go from 1400 to I'd say 1500 or 1600. With that being said, you can safely begin consuming 1100 to 1200 calories a day and still lose calories and weight.

If you did that everyday, you would burn 2800 calories in a week and 5600 calories in two weeks which would equal 1 and a half pounds lost, maybe more.

It differs with everyone though. I personally can lose 4lbs a week sometimes 5lbs (and have) but the difference between you and me is the training intensity. Being a football player I know how to train intensely and burn more calories, and rarely do I see girls that are willing to have that feeling of immense rage in the gym lol. My calorie intake is around 2300 calories and I'm eating probably around 1000 calories plus I'm burning more from cardio and weight lifting. So do the math. I'm not starving myself either and eat sometimes seven times a day. It's about what you're eating.

Actually, the times that you eat are also important with your diet. If you eat dinner 3 or more hours before you go to bed you will loose weight x3 quicker than having your dinner 1 or 2 hours before you go to bed you will also have a better sleep (which also helps with loosing weight)

Also I think you have been mistaken with deciding on not eating meats. Proteins (meat) are an essential part of your health and they actually CAN NOT be stored as fat. Therefore LEAN meats will not make you fat. HOWEVER fatty meats like oily chicken or sausages are out of the question when loosing weight. Your better off cutting down your carbohydrates (JUST FOR THE 2 WEEKS) and adding more veggies, fruit and low-fat dairy into your diet will loose your weight quicker.

Breakfast - Low-fat Yogurt and lots of Fruit
Lunch - Salad Sandwich / large Salad
Dinner - 1 meat (fish, Lamb, other lean meats) lots of Vegetables and small amount of carbohydate (rice, pasta etc)
Snacks - fruit, low-fat crackers or fibre biscuits

As well as that you should be exersizing with fun activities rather than blood,sweat and tears in the gym for hours. Play cricket, go swimming etc. Dont over-do it either coz that means that you wont preform well the next day which will discourage you to continue for a whole 2 weeks.

Why can't I lose weight after two weeks of exercise and eating less?

Eating less does not help you lose weight. It may make your body go into starvation mode where by it makes your metabolism slow down to conserve fuel. This is why you need to eat more, but smarter. To really lose weight, you have to eat 5 meals a day (females) and 6 meals a day (males).  Those meals should include at least 50% vegetables, 25% protein, 25% complex carbs. The protein should be from Tofu, Nuts, Legumes when possible.  You should have 2 servings of fruit every day, with at least 1 serving of a good source of Vitamin C. I'd add double down cardio where by the whole point is to burn fat. Also, I'd lift weights - all while listening to your fave audio adventure (music audio books). Or, if you're capable of it, while reading your fave book. I'd recommend the eliptical machine with HIIT (High intensity interval training) where you go at a moderate pace, then for 1 minute go as fast as you can, then slow down to a moderate pace,then for 2 minutes go as fast as you can. Repeat this for 15 minutes. Do this twice a day. After the eliptical, I'd get on the cycle machine, and do a cycle program for a good 30 minutes.Lastly, I'd cut all sugar from the diet with the exception of what is naturally found in fruit.
