Turning 22 Years Old. And Not Sure What To Do For My Bday .

I am turning 22. What should I do for my birthday?

Go out to sushi with a big group of friends. then after wards go bowling or skating. Make it kind of like the dorky birthday parties we all use to enjoy when we were kids not too long ago.

Today I turned 22 years old . so its my bday and Eid what do i get ?

Happy Birthday Boo !!!!!!!!!!

What U want ??

Are birthdays overrated? I am turning 22, and i see no reason to celebrate, as I have achieved nothing in life yet. Is it just me, or does everyone hate growing up?

I consider them to be very over rated. I'm turning 21 in August and I can't stand the day being all on me. The whole gift giving thing just makes me anxious and someone said to me “well if you don't think of something that they can get for your birthday then they might get offended”Oh well I'm sorry that I don't write down a list of everything I want like when I was a child. I'm an adult with a paying job which allows me to get what I want. My birthday thankfully falls on a day where I'll be at work so I dont have to spend the morning being surrounded by people and gifts, that they only got for me because I couldn't think of what to get me.The only thing that I asked for was something from my parents, which in hind sight i could have gotten any way with my wages. I'm also choosing to go out for dinner with my friends, not because it's my birthday but because I haven't seen them, due to distances. I've also specifically told them that they don't have to get me anything because their my friends. If I could I would just go on a weekend away by myself and spend my birthday in a new place. That way I don't have to worry about people making a big deal out of the fact “Oh yeah you aged again” like we don't already do that everyday. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy making others happy on their birthdays. But for me it's just not the same. Why bother wasting time and money on someone who at this current point in time doesn't care about a single day that HAS to revolve around them.I mean for pretty much every birthday since I was 15 I spent most of that day indoors, rarely spoke to anyone and constantly attempted to not make it a huge deal. Heck for my 20th I went with my partner and his mother to look at OVENS. For 3 hours. My partner was pretty pissed as he had wanted to take me out. But nope. We needed an oven. Which granted was more important. To me it's just a day where possibly thousands of other people where also born, so why bother celebrating just you for one single day. Heck if that was the case why not spend everyday celebrating that your a day older than you were.

Birthday present idea for my 22 year old brother?

Hi there everyone. I was just wondering if anyone had a real creative and thoughtful idea for a birthday present for my brother who will be turning 22 in a couple of days. He always buys me really nice things especially for those big birthdays like when I turned 16. I feel so bad because I don't know what to get him. He's so hard to shop for, and boys..are just hard to shop for in general :p I'd appreciate any ideas :D Thanks a lot everyone!

Birthday gift for older sister turning 22?

I'm 14 so I don't have that much cash on me bug I need to get something awesome for my sisters bday in 4 days :D she's the best sister ever <3 she has always been there for me and understands my problems and I love her <3
Not sure what I can get her though.. i don't think i can get my hands on any concert tickets to a band she likes bc the bands she likes aren't in our area. Also, she's graduating college but has a full time job as an eye doctor so she's really busy and probably won't have time to do something with me like nails or movie :(
I want to make her something homemade but not sure what... we don't have a lot of pics together for some reason so no cute scrap page :(
Any ideas? she's 22 so nothing childish. Also, I don't have a lot of cash and no ride to the mall or store D:

Is there anything a 22-year-old can do that a 21-year-old can't? I am turning 22 soon and for the first time I am not looking forward to my birthday.

Wow! I’m 70, and I look forward to every birthday. My next birthday will mean that I’ve been alive and well for another year. Not looking forward to your birthday? Try looking back from mine! I had the same feeling about turning 30. But over the years I’ve learned that you make what you will with your years. And not looking forward to your next birthday is likely to make your 22d year a bad one. Change your attitude now. Make every year better than the last. Only you can do that.

The day before yesterday, I was 25 years old, and next year I will turn 28. How is it possible?

This question isn’t as difficult as it seems to be. The question is surely perplexing at a glance and one may deem this question to be wrong but trust me, this question is reasonable. On carefully inspecting this question, one can understand that there are two days which are important and these are:A. My Birthday.B. The day when I am making this statement. If you think for a while, you will understand that such statements can be made only around the year’s end. So, if my birthday is on 31 December, then I will be making this statement on 1 January.I will further explain using the following example:1. Consider that today is 01 January 2017.2. Then, the day before yesterday was 30 December 2016 and according to the question I was 25 then.3. Yesterday was 31 December 2016, which happens to be my birthday too (Woohoo!), and my age increases by one to become 26.4. I will turn 27 on my birthday this year (31 December 2017).5. I will turn 28 on my birthday next year (31 December 2018).Now, if you read the question again, it will make more sense:The day before yesterday(30 December 2016), I was 25 years old and next year(31 December 2018) I will be 28.TL;DR:

I'm turning 22 tomorrow. I feel I'm getting old and haven't done much like other youngsters do. Should I be worried?

I often read news about a young person, 22 years of age or younger who achieved a great feat, and I get overwhelmed that I will never be able to better that because I am 23. I will not be the youngest to climb Mount Everest, or the youngest to get a scholarship to study in a Ivy League institute, or a young self built millionaire, etc. It takes some time to realize how silly I sound. In one’s life, at any point, there will always be innumerable people who would’ve traveled more than you, tried more cuisines than you, have been to more live concerts than you, slept with more people than you, played more sports than you or have more sorted lives than you etc. And you might feel intimidated by all this.Let me tell you something- Life isn’t a competitive exam where you have to score a higher percentile than everybody else to get somewhere. It is not a race to be won. It is a scenic route to be enjoyed. So, it doesn’t matter if you have “wasted” 22 years or 92. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t done things many others have been able to do by the same age. What matters is the life in front of you. There are people who are self built millionaires whilst still in their teen age, billionaires before 30 and then there are people like Colonel Sanders who started when he was 62 with his KFC brand. The choice is yours. The choice of getting overwhelmed by the things you could’ve done but you didn’t/couldn’t and quit OR choose to seize the day this moment forward.Happy Birthday.
