Tv Serial Where The Wife Run Away With A Guy Who Has On Some Skates

Is "bladerunner" a good brand for ice-skates?

I've been in a recreational ice-skating program for two years, and now I want to take lessons. I own a pair of girls hockey skates - they work well (but I need to own a pair of figure skates).

Right now I'm considering either the "bladerunner aurora" or something from "lake placid" or "riedell". Even though I'm a beginner I want to buy a pair of good quality skates that will last me a long time!

Thanks!!!

Btw, I wear girls size 4...

How much are actors on Saturday Night Live paid per episode?

According to his book "Gasping for Airtime," former SNL cast member Jay Mohr said that his starting salary on SNL was $5,500 per week, plus $1,500 per week for a writing credit. The next year's salary was $6,500 per week (or $8000 with the writing credit) up to $12,500 per week for a fifth year tenured performer. There are 22 episodes a season, so base salary is $121,000, if you appear in every episode, way back when Jay was a castmember. So it's probably more now. They have to sign a seven year contract. Lorne Michaels and NBC also get first rights to throw you on a sitcom or in a SNL movie.  (Sitcoms also have a seven year contract.) They seem to be ok of letting people out of contracts early, they just want the right to hold onto you forever. As of 2001, Will Ferrell (actor) held the record for the highest salary for an SNL cast member at $350,000 for the year, or $17,500 an episode.http://www.observer.com/1999/snl...http://andysamberg.blogspot.com/...

How did the show 'jackass' get started?

Don't listen to that other answer, it is very wrong.

Jackass is directed by Jeff Tremaine. Jeff Tremaine was a magazine editor in the 90s. He worked on a skateboarding magazine called Big Brother. If you haven't heard of Big Brother, then you aren't a real skater. It was a really controversial magazine. It had a bunch of pictures of teens doing dangerous skate tricks (Steve-O got on Jackass because he sent photos to Jeff of himself doing dangerous stunts), and had wild articles like one of the more famous ones, "The Easiest Ways to Commit Suicide".

So anyways, Johnny Knoxville wrote for this magazine. He tested safety gear. He would test hard hats and bullet proof vests by shooting himself and crazy **** like that. So, naturally, this magazine became very popular with young teens. And soon, MTV and Saturday Night Live both wanted to cut a deal with Jeff and Johnny. SNL wanted to have a weekly skit with Johnny doing a stunt. But, they ended up going with MTV, but it is kind of ironic, because Johnny hosted SNL a few years later. So they went with MTV, and Jackass was born.

The original cast was Chris Pontius (Party Boy), Preston (Who got ob the show by going to an open audition and eating two bananas still in the peel), WeeMan, Steve-O, Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera (Who got on because of his own jackass videos called CKY videos), Dave England, Danger Ehren, and Ryan Dunn. They were the cast through out the whole production, with a few guest stars.

The show ran for about two years. Then came the movies. The thing is, skating is a dying art. And Jackass was kind of a skater thing. Now all kids care about is video games and computers and ****. But, I'm off my soap box. That is how Jackass started! And, it never got canceled! They just stopped filming! So to all the dummies saying otherwise, it isn't true! Bam had his own spin off series called Viva La Bam, which wasn't too good. But other than that, that is it!

But, I am a strong believer in the fact that their would be no Jackass without the z boys. Google Jay Adams or Tony Alva. The skating ancestors...

Hope I could help!
