Twilight fans: Question about Bella's scar!?
Once she someone is bitten, and therefore poisoned with the venom, it takes about 3 days for them to completely die and make the transition. In the section right before the fight scene Alice explains how it works a little bit, explaining that the timing depends on how close the human is to death when they are bitten and how close to the heart the bite is. Bella has been badly beaten by James when he bites her so they don't have much time, but she was bitten on the hand so Edward has enough time to suck out the poison (kinda like with snake bites) before it reaches her heart/brain and before it has enough time to start the conversion process. The part of her hard that got bit is essentially vampiric (it's cold and shines). It's kinda like frostbite where your skin is just dead but they have stopped the spreading. Why do all the Harry Potter fans hate twilight?
i like both, but hp is better because the characters are more in-depth. i also think people can relate more to harry even though he's a wizard because he still goes through normal things like friendship and girlfriends. i know bella does too, but her problems with her friends and boyfriend are mostly about them all being mythical creatures. i also think harry potter is funnier and has more exciting adventures. twilight is more of a love story, so i don't even know why people compare them because they are 2 different things.

He loves Bella.I mean - really, truly loves her.There are maybe…. five couples in the whole of fiction whom I would describe as perfect for each other (this is fiction I have read & watched obviously - clearly there might be more) and given how many couples that includes, five is a pretty small number.Rory & Amy Pond, Ron and Hermione Granger, Buttercup and Westley, Anne and Gilbert Blythe and Edward and Bella Cullen.(It’s possible Ken and Rilla Ford would come to this group, but we don’t see enough of their relationship to make a proper judgement).His entire life is about making her happy, and despite what people will tell you he never hurts her, never belittles her, never abuses her. What do fans of the Twilight series have to say about True Blood?
I have read all kinds of vampire literature ranging from the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles to Twilight, to the Southern Vampire Series to the original Dracula. I can say that the two series that are the most closely related are Twilight and the Southern Vampire Mysteries. For fans of Twilight that were a little more mature, it was seen as somewhat like a Twilight with more sexual content. It is true, but all the series have their own content and prose. I liked all the series for different reasons, although I wouldn't count Twilight or the Southern Vampire Mysteries standards of literature. I would say if you are a fan of Twilight you should try the series by Charlaine Harris and possibly even the Anne Rice novels. Interview with a Vampire sheads a lot of light on the Twilight series, and if nothing else provides a lot of insight into what Stephanie Meyer was thinking in her writing of her Vampire series.
Why do fans of Twilight believe that the movies are good?
I like ALL of the movies in the Twilight Saga and I am not a teenage girl. I am a mother of two grown boys. I think this movie shows parents that teens some times have their own lives that we are unaware of, no matter how good we try to be as parents, they simply do not tell us everything. it also shows us that as they get older, we only think we know everything there is to know about our kids, although in reality, no matter how hard we try, we don't know any more than they want us to know. I don't think it shows Bella as being abused, I think that it shows that she is bashful, and has a hard time fitting in, but she is very intelligent, she is just different, and she doesn't try to pretend to be someone she isn't. Also, if anyone was paying attention, she is also nice to everyone and she doesn't have a mean bone in her. It also addresses the issue that teens have to choose some things for themselves, no matter what we as parents want for them, or think they should have. Just like Bella has to choose between Edward and Jacob, though her choice seems to have been made from the first movie, and she sticks with her decision while still maintaining her purity until her wedding. (I think that sets a very good example for everyone!) There are many great points to these movies, and I am not ashamed to say that I am a fan of the series and of the actors/actresses in them. If one sits and thinks about these movies. they have many good examples that they set, and I prefer to watch Twilight, rather than some of the other movies out there that everyone thinks are "really good" when I see nothing good about them, and they definitely don't set good examples.

I really like twilight fan fic that is written in Edward's point of view. If you know of any interesting ones, can you please tell me the URL? If you don't know of any EPOV ones, I also like reading fanfic that picks up right when Breaking Dawn left off. ______________________________________... I know of all the fanfic websites and am a member at most. So, if you wouldn't mind, all I want is the URL to stories, not whole sites. :)
