Which name do you prefer?

1. Isabelle
2. Sophie
3. Ava
4. Juliet
5. Kathryn (or better yet Katherine)
6. Laura
7. Melinda
8. Abby
9. Tara
10.Nicole
11. Miranda

Out of those names I like Miranda the best.

Do you like the name Anna with one or two n's?

Well to me Anna and Ana are pronounced differently. Anna is Anne-uh, Ana is Ah-nuh.

I perfer Anna but Ana is also nice.

2 Similar boy names - which one do you prefer?

Feilim Lucas Gregory

You're Irish - you can use gorgeous Irish names with no fear of pronunciation issues! For that reason alone, I'd say Feilim.

Salem reminds me of the Witch trials (I'm sorry, I mean no offence by that), so that could cause issue. It's also a common name in the Middle East - I don't know if that changes anything for you?

I like Feilim because it's a strong, handsome name that suits Lucas and Gregory well. I prefer the flow of Feilim Lucas Gregory to the flow of Salem Lucas Gregory. If the middle name was just Lucas, I'd go for Salem (maybe), but as a set, I prefer Feilim.

Do you like your name? If not, what name would you prefer and what interesting story would you have about how your name was given to you?

The name I use here is my chosen name.I simply had to have something with “FAB” in it.More aspirational than indicative.Zawa Rinpoche - (a Tibetan Monk now living in Canada) gave me the Tibetan name Lobsang Gyatso - “Beautiful mind like an Ocean” or “Ocean of Pure Thoughts” - EVIDENTLY more aspirational rather than indicative.Sri Lankan monk Bhikkhu Kasyapa gave me the Pali name “Visuddhi” meaning “Pure” when I took Upasaka Upāsaka and Upāsikā - Wikipedia vows with him - AGAIN more aspirational than indicative.Indicative names would have been more like: “Manipulative Parasite” or “Spoilt Brat.”The name I was given at birth was typical at the time of my birth, yet revealed a lack of imagination on the part of my parents.During the 70’s many British born Poles were given the names Robert (my brother’s name) or Marek (my given name). If anyone yelled these 2 names at Polish School during the 80’s - maybe over 70% of the boys would raise their heads. Half a dozen Polish families living within spitting distance from my Mama’s house - each of them have a son named either Robert or Marek. There are many more interesting Polish names, yet UK resident Poles didn’t want their kids to be picked on for their names so often chose names that were the same or similar in both languages (Robert- same, Ryszard for Richard, Edward - same, Andrzej for André, Józef for Joseph, Piotr - Peter, Mariusz- Marius, Dariusz- Darius, Aleksander - Alexander)Girls’ names were easier - Anna, Maria, Barbara (shortened to Basia, pronounced Bash-a), Renata (shortened to Renia), Krystyna, Wanda (Vanda in Polish pronunciation) Daniela, Iwona (pronounced Ee-von-a) Anita, Monika, Joanna (Poles pronounce it Yo-anna).Male names I love: Balthazar, Benedict, Dominic, Matthias, Silas, Cesare, Cyrus, Cyprian, Silas, Maximillian, Solomon, Fabrizio (OBVIOUSLY) Erasmus, Thaddeus, Menno, Oliver, Vladimir, Nikolai, Salvatore, Silvester, Sylvian, Julius, Zenon, Quentin, Tarquin, Rameses, Benjamin, Joshua.Girls’ names? That would be a long list.

Which name do you prefer: Valerie or Vanessa?

I love the name Vanessa although Valerie is very cute.

I am pregnant with just one baby (don't know the sex) but these are the names my husband and I are debating (for the week - lol):

Dakota Ryanne Paige
Paige Olivia
Janna Rae
Lorna Erika Rae
Georgia Rae

Marcus Anthony
Dominic Anthony
William Mason Alexander
Avery Micheal Jesse
Mason William Alexander

(I included the middle names just to give you an idea.. these are the names we choose specific to honour people in our lives.. you may choose to do the same :)

We have a two year old daughter we named Sydney Sandra Lynn - I've loved her name since I was a little girl.

Best of luck to you and your new babies!! Email me any time!!! xo

Which name do you prefer: Daphne or Pansy?

Daphne is Greek for "laurel tree", while Pansy is a flower name which comes from the Old French for "thought".

Two different plant names - which one do you like better?

Which one of these logos do you prefer?

Original Question: Which one of these logos do you prefer?Neither of them. Both have fundamental flaws and display a lack of design knowledge. For one thing, both of them use a different company name. The first one is “Masters’ Tricks,” the second one is “Mastertricks.”First Logo: The “MASTERS’” type is poorly spaced and the arc effect is clumsy. The two fonts don’t work well together, and appear to have been chosen at random. The symbol is trite, poorly drawn, and has no harmony with the wordmark. None of the elements work with any of the other elements.Second Logo: The whole logo has too many small details which will not reduce well. These grungy details increase the visual noise without adding anything positive or memorable. The symbol is still trite, poorly drawn, and has no harmony with the wordmark. In the tagline, “suitcase” is misspelled. This is at least the third time you’ve asked for feedback on logos for the same company. You are getting no closer to a professional-quality logo. You cannot hope to get an effective logo by blindly slapping elements together and then asking for feedback on Quora. Also: Quora does not allow multiple accounts for the same user.

Which name do you prefer: Lauren or Lena?

I’m not one to use common names and I can think of a ton of Laurens (or Lauras, since that’s so close) that I know. I don’t dislike the name, and as far as a common name goes it’s not a bad one.Because of that, if my wife and I were forced to choose between those two names, I’d probably go with Lena. The only Lena I can think of is the actress Lena Headey, who plays the despicable Cersei Lannister on Game of Thrones (but was also the wife of Leonidas in 300, so she’s not all bad).

Which name do you prefer Xander or Benjamin?

I like Benjamin better. Because I love Biblical names. Benjamin is a name that is classic and has a nice sound to it. You can use Ben, Benji or Benny as nicknames . It’s a name I fell in love with when I was younger and if I had a little one I would use this. Xander is not a name I would consider. I don’t like how it looks or sounds and I don’t like X names.
