Not fun.So.How do you get a black eye ?You'll be surprised, but you don't need a huge impact to have a black eye.All you need to do is bruise the skin that's resting on the bone around your eye.So I think this one will work :Get a hammer. A nice and heavy one. And tap multiple times very gently around your eye. It won't hurt at all, unless you miss and hit your eye.If it does hurt, use ice cubes. Put them around your eye, where you are going to hit yourself, for two to five minutes.While you're hitting yourself, you will feel it bruise. You won't see a black eye yet but stop anyway.Wait a bit. Have a nap. Or get some pain killer. After a little while you have you're black eye.Of course if this doesn't work, you can use makeup.But who am I to tell you what to do?

I have had enough black eyes and bruises for everyone and their dads. I understand that you need your black eyes gone as soon as possible so by the the fastest way to get rid of them is to go to the store and buy a couple of bags of frozen peas (It allows the cold to from around the ridges of your face and you need at least two, to alternate when one of them is not longer cold enough.). Next you need to have a couple of rags or towel's and soak them in really Hot (obviously not too hot to burn skin) water. Take the frozen peas and place them firmly on your eyes or the bruised areas, After 15 minutes do the same with the hot towels and put the peas back in the freezer. Do this for a while and the hot and cold alteration will get the blood in your eyes flowing and will soon get rid of the bruising. Do this throughout the day if possible and it will be gone in a couple of days. Also, the only reason I say frozen peas is because if you get an ice back it will take forever to freeze back up and its saves money. Hope this helps

Oh I know the children are mistreated. That's not the problem. The problem is the appearance that everything is fine. The house is clean, the children are bathed, they have proper shoes, etc. I guess it upsets me because I grew up similarly. We had the appearance of a happy home but I was unloved and miserable.

Not being a complete idiot, and also because I can barely see over the big purple lump under my eye, I know I was given a pretty good soon to be black eye! I was punched underneath my eye half an hour ago and it keeps swelling. Mind you my eyes are usually sunken so the extending bump under my eye really is swelling. Now, I have no doubts it will get worse since it kinda is worse than these 5 minutes photos already. So I need a miracle cure. Also rate how bad my eye is and how bad it's gonna get. Hello, I have a question. I hit my head yesterday when a carpet slipped underneath me and I hit a rounded corner of my bedside. It hit me pretty hard into the edge of my eyebrow. Literally instantly, I grew there a really large knot and my top eyelid swelled up. I admit I didn't ice it or anything at all. The accident happened late evening so I took some painkillers and went to bed. I woke up today with a nasty surprise. The knot on eyebrows spread largly to sides, including my eye that now looks like stang by bees and I even developed a big patchy black eye in rich purple color. I don't have any signs of concussion and I don't feel any problems besides the painful lump but I do need to make the knot and black eye vanish. Now, ice is not helping however I need it gone by tomorrow or the day after at most. Thank you

He was embarrassed because he knew what they thought about him, but he realized that embarrassing me wouldn't make things better. If he had cringed away from me and acted like I was abusive, I would have been hurt and humiliated. In his mind, his girlfriend's feelings were more important than making strangers think better of him.Really, how did your husband think his acting would make things better? Now people think that you are both abusive. Your black eyes didn't miraculously disappear. Wearing sunglasses, as someone else suggested, would most likely also stick out. It is pretty easy to tell when someone is hiding something.That being said, I completely understand that your husband doesn't want to be seen as an abuser. That is a very valid concern. I also understand that he may have simply reacted without a lot of thought. I doubt that he was trying to make things worse for you. However, this is a conversation that the two of you need to have. You need to tell him how you felt, and you need to listen to how he felt. The only person who can actually help you out here is your husband.
