Uk Is A Power Of Attorney Invalid If The Name Changes

Japanese Internment Camp Research help, please??

Hello, I may need alittle help on a research project on Japanese Internment Camps. I just need some good research sites where I can find some good info on this topic that is easy to read. Unfortunately, I also have to make a bibliography for the websites I researched at. It has to contain:

Name of website. Editor/Author. Date edited. Name of Organization. Date of access. Web address.

I would really appreciate your help. Because I really don't know why the hell my ENGLISH II teacher has to give us a project like this that involves difficult research...

So remember, I need some good websites on research on Japanese Interment Camps that contained the information for the bibliography example I showed above.

*If it doesn't have anything unimportant on it like, Date of access or Editor/Author, its ok ^_^

THANKS:)

Is it legal to forge someone's signature with their consent?

Someone asking you to “sign on their behalf” is effectively asking you to represent them in doing a certain thing, which qualifies you as a mandated party. You basically have an unwritten contract in which it is stipulated that you sign for someone else, on their behalf. You would have to use your own signature, not theirs. This means that you’ve agreed that you sign on their behalf and that your signature on any relevant (..) document is the same as their signature on that document. If you’d however use their signature, that’s something else entirely, with or without their consent, should the signing be done in order to produce any sort of legal consequence whatsoever, such as in the situation of signing a check. One situation in which it’s most likely legal to use someone’s signature could be the following: you get commissioned to use someone’s signature as a wall decoration (do it over and over across a wall, for decorative purposes). This all varies with jurisdiction etc though I’m pretty sure on the basics.

If there is a clerical error (such as a minor misspelling of a name), does that render a contract void if they notice it later?

U.S. legal answer: not in general, no. In the United States alone, people enter into several million contracts each year. All are written by human beings, who make mistakes sometimes, and our economy would grind to a halt if typos and other non-substantive errors made contracts unenforceable. As long as it’s clear what the parties intended with a contract, a court will not use a typo as a reason to invalidate it. If it’s a typo that raises a more legitimate question about what the parties intended, that’s another story. For example, if a contract on page 1 says that the software licensing fee will be $X/year and on page 5 a different clause says that same fee will be $Y/year, that’s a real question. One of those must be a mistake, but the contract itself doesn’t give us a way to know which one is right, so now we have a real question to answer. But if I agree to license my software to you and I accidentally spell your name or address wrong, that’s not going to be a problem.

What is the validity period of the attested documents?

In my opinion the validity of attested documents varies from document to document .Attested copies of documents certified to be true copies of the original have no end to its validity. It is valid and validly trusted that the original of the certified copy had been seen and did exist on the date of the attestation of the copy by the notary. An example is isn't a certified copy of a judgement valid lifelong now and ever in future. Similar is the case here.Affidavits and declarations are deemed to have been validly executed on the date of their attestation. Their validity and enforcement shall depend and appraised alongwith other circumstances and evidence when the same are sought to be enforced and acted upon.Powers of attorney are valid till the date of expiry of the person who gives the power of attorney or till the date of expiry of the attorney or upto the date of revocation or cancellation of the same by the person who gives the power of attorney .You may revert back if you have some other document in your mind which may have skipped mine. All the said documents can be attested by class I Gazetted Officer or by a Notary.

If a company made a spelling mistake in your name, can you not pay the bill?

No. There are normally quite a few identifying factors related to the customer which make it clear who the customer actually is. Most likely this includes your name, address, maybe your social security number, phone number and so on. If you refuse to pay a bill because your name is incorrect, but it is, in fact, your bill, you will be responsible for the bill, interest, and if it becomes necessary, likely attorney's fees and other expenses. Most businesses these days include something about being responsible for attorney's fees and expenses, which is why I mention it.

How long is a notarized document valid?

Though your question is short but the same has different applicability to different documents. In my opinion some view are enumerated below : attested and certified photostat copies as true copies of the original have no end of their validity provided that the same were notarized by the notary during the term of his commission. Some documents by themselves have a time limit of their validity, for example a notarized copy of a power of attorney shall be valid only during the life time of the executor of the same or until it is revoked by the executor. Here also the original power of attorney  is enforceable during the lifetime of the executor or till the time the executor has not revoked the same. Thereafter the said power of attorney is a mere waste paper.Certified translated documents from one language to another are valid and have no end of their validity if they  were so certified by the notary during the period of his commission. The verification, authentication, certification or attestation of the execution is valid that the same had been done so on the date of attestation etc. Their after their value shall depend as per legal norms and evidence as may be appreciated by different courts in respect of other co relating and produced evidence. This is to elaborate a question which in my opinion no one can answer . It is a mater of appreciation of evidence in view of facts of the case. All above acts have to be done by the notary under his signatures and official seal. In case of attested copies of  revenue  records the presumption is that what has been certified by the notary was the status of the property as on the said day. Sothe validity of such similar documents shall be restricted to the said day of attestation only. This is so that after attestation of the same any one may alienate, transfer or encumber the said properties etc. It is advisable that the notary along with his certification should write the time and date of attestation for his own safeguard.

What does it mean to "put your initials" on all pages of a document or an agreement before the last page where your full name and signature is requested?

Your initials on a page acknowledge that that page of the agreement is authentic. Make sure it is authentic before putting your initials on it.With computers today, it is easily possible to make subtle changes in a document and there are often several drafts. If your signature is on page 10, what happens if their copy at page 3 says you owe $ 10,000 more than you intended or term is 3 years longer etc., if your copy says something else. It means someone has changed one version of the document or is working of an earlier or later draft. When? Before or after signature? If a page is initialed that is the version of that page you accrpted. When I draw a will, I always have the will maker and every witness initial every page to make sure there are no further changes of which you are not aware. It's not always necessary for all agreements to initial every page if you or your lawyer have a copy on your/their computer as the computer will indicate changes and each party has a copy. Also initial every change in the document from the computer version, as a matter of protection.
