Umineko No Naku Koro Ni Explanation

Can someone explain Umineko no Naku Koro ni to me?

I just finished watching the anime (episode 26) and it pretty much just cut off. They never kept on making the anime and I'm not really interested in visual novels. I tried to watch some videos discussing everything but I couldn't get it. Can someone please help me sort this out. I would appreciate a detailed answer. Thank you.

Higurashi no naku koro ni kai explanation [SPOILER WARNING]?

So I just finished Higurashi Kai and I have some questions regarding the ending. I read somewhere that 'adult Rika' is actually some witch that is basically born out of Rika's 100 years of living and such and in the end they show us she left Rika's body. And that witch now basically cancelled whole anime by saving Miyo's dad? (It could be some alternate world though). But my main question is: Does Rika remember her 100 years of saving them? Does she still have that 'adult' voice? And btw, do I really have to watch Higurashi Rei or is it jut osme OVA? Heard it was **** lol. Thanks in advance

Question about Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei?

The higurashi no naku koro ni kai anime adaptation had an alternate ending to the series where hanyuu doesnt die. The visual novels of higurashi had an arc called Miotsukushi-hen (Canal Drying Arc) where hanyuu protects miyo takano from being shot from from people who work for tokyo (i believe) and dies. Takano is then taken to a hospital to recover from being at a high level of the hinamizawa syndrome.

Higurashi Rei is all one world since in ep 2 they were leaving the public pool heading back to hinamizawa which is where rika states that they are enjoying there lives because their tragic fate has been deafted. This shows that Kai's anime adaptation didn't give us the ending that Rei is suppose to continue from where hanyuu is suppose to die and revert to a spirit. As for takano being there it is possible that everyone has forgiven her for what had happened since that is one of the major themes in higurashi forgiving the sins they have committed and working together aside from that it would really makes sense as to why she's there at the pool with them.

Also Higurashi Rei was originally a visual novel fandisc after all the higurashi visual novels were released as a bonus for the fans. Since it was written before higurashi kai was animated it followed from a different ending where hanyuu died. So when rei was animated as an ova it was directed from the material that was already written where it didnt match kai's anime ending.

I hope this answers most of your questions despite it may be confusing but then again higurashi itself is a confusing series. You can email if you have anymore question about higurashi nexnyk@sbcglobal.net

Umeniko no Naku koro ni ... explain please?

To answer you question means that I'll have to give you spoilers. So if you didn't mind spoilers, please continue reading.

SPOILER ALERT
As you probably know, this anime was based on a visual novel with the same name. If you already watch Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, you will understand most of the scenes in this anime. First of all, the ending. The ending is set to be a cliffhanger by the producers but in visual novel version, as the anime only adapted up to 4 chapters only (the visual have 8 chapters overall). However, it can also be considered as a complete ending as that the chapter where Battler has his final duel with Beatrice. In later chapters, the story is told from other characters perspectives.

For your second question about Battler's sin 6 years ago, it's related to Battler's confession towards Shannon (the one that was mentioned earlier in the series). I don't want to explain more on this topic as it can get complicated at certain points but to put it simple, Shannon, Kanon & Beatrice are once exist as one entity.

Third question about Battler's mom. Asumi is not his real mom, it was Kyrie all along. To explain this, go play the game/or read some wikia pages.

Last question about Beatrice's heart. Well, there is nothing to explain about that.

Is Higurashi no Naku Koro ni worth watching?

Old question, but I'll just give my opinion in case anyone stumbles upon it.Yes. In fact, I tend to plug it whenever the opportunity presents itself. If you're looking for a dark story and are a fan of horror and mystery, then definitely give it a shot. It's not really all violence and gore, it's more psychological. People always talk about the gore, but that's honestly in the minority of the scenes. Watch the first arc (the first 4 episodes) and see if it hooks you in.One thing to note is to make sure you watch both seasons. Each arc is like a puzzle piece and you need every piece to solve the puzzle. You will be confused at first, but the pieces should fall into place when you see the second season (Kai.) There's also the OVAs. Nekogoroshi-hen (before Kai) Rei (after Kai) Kira (after Rei) and Outbreak (after Kira.) Kira is kind of controversial among fans. It's not really part of the series, and it's pure fluff. It was actually made for the 10th anniversary. There's 4 episodes, and from what I've seen, each one is a parody of a different kind of anime. Ecchi, Magical girl, Harem, and I'm not sure about the fourth one.As someone who's rewatching the anime after having played through the Visual Novels (up to 5 at least,) I'm noticing that they do cut a lot out, especially a lot of the comedic and character development moments. The entire first VN was condensed into the first 4 episodes of the anime, so that should show you how much they had to cut. It's a lot slower, but if you have the time for it, I do recommend the VN over the anime. The first 5 are currently on Steam (the rest should be coming eventually. There's one for each arc in the anime.) I'd also recommend downloading a fan made patch to add in the CGs and voices from the Playstation version. It's a matter of preference, but I think it enhances the experience. Just, don't think of the VN as a game. It's probably better if you go in thinking of it as a series of mystery novels, but with music and sound effects. The game aspect is really just the challenge of putting the clues together and trying to figure out what's really going on.

Im confused on Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni?

Ive seen the whole thing several times, played the game and read the manga. ill just put an explination as to whats with the groundhog day loop (multiple scenario's) but if you want to know why its happening (which will spoil the twist) email me.

Each chapter (or arc) is a seperate story which starts at roughly the same time with the same characters under generally the same circumstances (the string of murders, certain characters present or ommited), and each possible outcome (killer / victims) is influenced by a set of factors and choices the characters can make. Since your only just getting into the story, what you are seeing are "question" arcs, which make up the first 4 parts. As befits
the name, these provide few answers and open up parts of the mystery.

The 5th arc to the 8th arc are the answer arcs, which use other scenarios to explain the happenings of the previous ones and fill in the gaps. Youll really only understand the reasoning behind the repetition of scenarios once you get into higurashi kai (season two), an episode called "the rules of the maze".

Bear in mind, each scenario is NOT a re-telling with a different veiwpoint. It is an entirly different happening, all of which will eventually be merged together (in a really interesting way to).

Confusion about the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni anime series?

Yes, that's mostly correct.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is the "question arcs" (ie part 1 of the anime)
Higurashi .... Kai is part 2/the "answer" arcs.
Rei is a set of OVAs that are a sort of sequel/epilogue to the story, as well as a couple of comedic stand-alone episodes.

Umineko isn't an exact sequel - it's made by the same people, and has a similar theme but doesn't follow on the story of the first. (The main characters are different, too). It is made after Higurashi, though, and has some references to it which may spoil the original series, or else wouldn't make sense without watching Higurashi first.
The two parts follow the same layout as Higurashi: Umineko is part 1, the "question arcs", and Umineko Chiru is the "answer arcs", or part 2 in the sound novel - this hasn't been produced as an anime yet.
For the anime, Umineko is the main anime, followed by Umineko specials - containing parodies, special clips etc from the cast.

So in summary, the anime parts are:

Higurashi, followed by Higurashi Kai, and then Higurashi Rei if you choose.
Umineko, followed by Umineko Specials, then Umineko Chiru when/if it's produced.

Hope that helps!

Gasai Yuno VS Rena (Higurashi Naku Koro Ni) ?

hey, guys maybe some of you already now who is this two girl, so iam gonna give a brief explanation to whom they haven't know.

1. Gasai Yuno, a Main Heroine from Mirai Nikki, she is a girl who love Yukiterru in such a crazy way. you know, she is just your ordinary stalker. she wont mind to kill anybody who want to take Yukitteru from her (even his parent). this girl is totally creeping me out when i first saw the anime

2. Rena, is one of the Higurashi Naku Koro Ni Girl, who played a major role on the Onikakushi hen and the other answer arc (i forgot lol). she is sure a crazy girl who is like have a "Two-Personallity". She cute when with her friend, but when her true nature is appear, her axe on her hand will fly to anybody with no execption.

so, the questions is if those two meet, and battle each other, who do you think going to win? (this is for fun only lol)

I don't completely understand higurashi no naku koro ni?

In the Higurashi games, your goal is to solve the mystery of the murder. Anytime a story arc has been completed, the story resets and a different person dies to begin with.

The series is divided into six chapters which are based on the first six chapters in the original visual novel series. The first chapter is Onikakushi-hen (episodes one to four), followed by Watanagashi-hen (episodes five to eight), and Tatarigoroshi-hen (episodes nine to thirteen). Next is Himatsubushi-hen (episodes fourteen and fifteen), the shortest of the story arcs. The last two chapters are Meakashi-hen (episodes sixteen to twenty-one) and Tsumihoroboshi-hen (episodes twenty-two through twenty-six).

Each route ends up differently.
