I went to the medical shop to buy some medicines , that was the only shop in our locality . After I was done I asked for receipt , the shopkeeper said that “I cannot give you the receipt right now for this much of amount , you can take it some time later “ . I argued with him in a decent tone but he was stern so I was left with no option but to leave .I went to a grocery store to buy some item , after I was done I gave my card to pay the bills . The owner said that for this much of amount they cannot swipe my card , please pay in cash . I paid him the cash he returned me 2 eclairs and said no change . I knew no point in arguing , I had to leave .I had to go out of station but the rail tickets were not available , tatkal I was not sure , I went to the agent . He charged me almost double the amount , I tried to negotiate but no use . He promised that my ticket would be confirmed , outing plan cannot be cancelled or postponed . I gave the money and come back .Festival time , going by bus always pay between 1000–1500 , this time it was 4000 , why so . Am I booking some other bus , or the travel distance has increased , nothing . Ohhh!!! its festival time everybody is going home so there is so much of rush and so the rise in prices .All the above people the medical shop owner , the grocery store owner , the railway agent , the bus operator meet to have tea and they are discussing “these bloody ministers , they are consuming our hard earned money and doing nothing they are so corrupt “Why there is so much of corruption ?Everybody is interested in their profits , as per them they are just doing small level corruption , it won’t effect economy , the largest are done by the government officials .Everybody is involved in corruption according to their stature , small level = small corruption , bigger level = bigger corruption .Corruption is now in genes , it won’t leave so early .That is why there is so much of corruption in India .

If Hitler had succeeded, would modern German people say they regret his actions as they claim to do so now?

All I have to say on this is that Stalin did succeed, and was, in many ways, worse than Hitler, and from what I can tell, the Russians have no regrets about it, as he was allowed to occupy and do whatever he wanted to do with Eastern Europe by Great Britain and the US, as opposed to being bombed to death and forced to surrender unconditionally like Germany was.Human nature is human nature. I personally regret all the wrong things the US did throughout its history, as I spent most of my life there, but most there simply don’t care, because as a country, they were never forced to, shall we say, “face the music”.So it all matters who “wins”, and it’s the victors who write this history books that the subsequent kids will read in schools and learn from. Only those more intellectually and academically inclined will dig deeper to see the real truth beyond the mass propaganda. And they will know. And if there’s any humanity left in them, will feel some regret.Most people would rather avoid the pain of the past if they can, and so will not actively choose to learn the true history of their own country. Whether this is good or bad is a complicated question. My fellow Germans here continue to self-flagellate over the actions of Hitler, though precious few of them were even alive at the time, 70 years ago, and of them, most were still kids, teenagers at best. Those alive today have no reason to feel guilty over what their grandparents may have done during the Holocaust. But Germany, as a whole, were forced to face the music. The Holocaust is drilled into the heads of every student here in public school ad nauseum, and it’s created a conflicting set of reactions to it. Many will dismiss it for reasons that they simply were not around — it’s “ancient history”, long before their time. Others will feel a deep shock and shame.History, as how it is taught in public schools around the globe, tends to be more about propaganda its governments wants to inculcate into the next generation than it is about having a real understanding about the history itself. This, in and of itself, rather sinister, but not sure if anything can be done about it. It is what it is.
