Under My Big Two It Hurts

My big toe hurts at random times... why?

The base of the big toe corresponds with the neck, in reflexology. When having a treatment my reflexologist will twirl the big toe around and call it "ringing the neck". What she is really trying to do is relieve the tension in the nerves that run into the feet from the neck. When you are ignoring or not noticing your bodies first signals at the source, in this case possibly your neck, it sends the pain on down the line. So perhaps a trip to a massage therapist is in order.

Especially since you have no other symptoms.Gout is extremely painful and your toe would be swollen and red.You would be unable to walk without pain.
But since you say this happens when you are sitting I suspect the neck. Most of us are careless with our posture while sitting. Do a search on reflexology and see for yourself how every nerve ending runs to our hands and feet.
You may need an alignment from a chiropractor as well. They can do a very gentle adjustment without jerking your neck at all.

The corner of my big toe hurts so much!?

ingrown toenail for sure. big shoes should only make it feel better, because there would be less presure.

The solution is going to be painful either way you decide to handle it. if you wait any longer, you may end up with something that can not be done at home.

What I did, was to get a pair of fingernail clippers, with the little hook tool that flips out from the middle. get that in between the toenail, and the flesh at the base of the toenail. get te hook under the nail and drag it up to the tip of your toe. what ou are trying to do is dig the littl epiece of nail that is growing into your flesh. Thisis going to hurt like a mother F___ker. You need to clean everything well before and after.

Good luck, you really should see a dr, but if you are like me, you'll manup and do this ish yourself. gonna hurt though

My big-toe hurts when i put pressure on it?

Well for the past 3 or 4 months my big-toe was hurting on the side I asked my dad what to do but he said to five it time and it will go away but now its extremely hard and is really painful when i put pressure on it. BTW its not an ingrown toe nail.

Dropped something on my big toe and hurts way more than it should. What could I have damaged?

You may have broken your toe bone (1st phalange) but I doubt it. If you are mainly dealing with pain, you likely bruised the root of your toe nail. That is a more common injury. Your toe nail will turn blue and be very sensitive for days to even weeks. You will likely grow a new toe nail under the existing toe nail. In a few months you will start to notice the new toenail.I did this 30 years ago. I dropped a 100 pound piece of 3/8ths plate steel on edge about 12 inches down and across all of my toes. I broke my little toe and the next toe and smashed the big toe nail without breaking it. The big toe nail root was by far more painful than the broken toes.Over the years, I have broken a few toes (phalanges) and a few metatarsals, the bones that connect the toe bones to the foot. The doctors have never done anything but put me in a walking slipper. I usually took it off and put on a strong hiking or work boot instead.

Does it hurt getting a tattoo on your big toe?

Depends, are you getting it on the top or bottom???

Most artists except for non licensed one's will not do the bottom of your feet.

If your toes are bony, then yes it would hurt a little to some extent... But any tattoo you get on your toe(s) is not going to be large enough to cause severe pain or hardly any pain for that matter...

One reason they may not do a toe tat is because many people are ticklish on their feet, and if you move, they could damage your nail bed as a possibility...

Like anyone should know all tats hurt to some level, but I would think one on your toe wouldn't be nearly as bad as one on your *** :)

Check out the link below, it's a little information on tattooing of hands, feet, and face(s)

My toenail hurts also some clear fluid?

Hi Crystal! So I just had to answer this question too because it has happened to me! Kelly above is totally right on. You should soak in epsom salt. I wore tennis shoes that were a bit tight and my toe nails were a bit long during a kick ball game and from all the running and stopping and kicking I guess I had bruised my big toe nails on both feet! The next few days after that my toes were so sore and then they began to look purplish in color a couple weeks later. Then a few weeks after that to my horror they both fell off! I was so embarrassed I wore bandaids around my toes til they started to come back in (which wasn't too long) I even had a fake nail put on at the salon because I was in a wedding! But they grew back fine. Hopefully it won't happen to you, but if it does it's not so bad at least it's gonna be fall season. Just make sure to cut your toenails short and wear comfortable not too-tight shoes. :)
