Under Weight Problems

Underweight and fast metabolism problems?

I'm a 21 year old girl and I am worried about my body. When I was 18, I was 5'2 tall and weighed 90-92 pounds max. Now I am a bit taller 5'3 and I weigh 88 pounds. I was underweight before and now it's worse. My diet hasn't changed and I eat a lot like 6 or 7 times a day (except during menstruation when I eat less). I eat all kind of food, from pasta, meat, veggies and fish to chocolate, chips, fatty food and fast food. I'm a very skinny girl, I look like a teenager. I am NOT anorexic because I love to eat and I don't think I am fat, actually I think I'm really thin. I do some footing once or twice a week and my job also requires some exercise (I work with kids and old people). BTW I get tired very easily and need to eat every 1 or 2 hours.

I know I have a fast metabolism but I did everything to gain weight and nothing worked. Any advice?

P.S.: I know that is genetic. All the members of my family are thin but not as much as I am. My cousin who is 23 started to gain weight when she was 20 but I'm doing the opposite. It looks like I lose a pound every year. What's wrong with me?

How to overcome underweight problem.my BMW is 17(height-5.10,weight-52.5)?

Exercise & eat balanced & regular meals with enough protein. Just eating unhealthy will not help much & create more problems later. I tried GNC protein for 6 months & put on 25 pounds. I continued to exercise. I lost a few pounds when I stopped but stabilized at a healthy weight and have been there for over a year now.

Can being underweight cause dizziness and other problems?

I am 22 years old, I am 5"4 and I weigh 91 pounds. According to a chart I seen, I should be weighing in at 133- A 42 pound difference. I assure you, I do not have an eating disorder. As a matter of fact, I am drinking at LEAST 3 Ensure Plus drinks daily, I am really upping my calorie intake as much as my stomach can hold. I'm wanting to gain a pound a day, but thats easier said than done.
My question ultimately is... Being this underweight, (Im assuming Im malnourished? ) can it cause problems like dizziness, lightheadedness, fatigue, etc?
I also have problems with sensitivity to light, and was just diagnosed with Panic Disorder and OCD.
ALSO... I started my period on the 19th of September, and it is now the 6th of October and it's still going. I went 3 days ago and got birth control to balance my hormones and was told it could take 7 days for my period to finally stop. My blood was tested and I am not anemic as of 3 days ago. I'm also thinking maybe a thyroid problem, but I'm more starting to wonder if me being so drastically underweight (42 pounds) could be causing all of these problems, including my hardcore anxiety.
Please help :( If you have weight gaining advice too, high protein foods, etc, please let me know. Thank you in advance.

I am 24 years old and underweight. People make fun of me. How can I gain weight?

I’m 24 year old and underweight, people make fun of me. How can I gain weight?I think, those who’re making fun of you, are actually feeling jealous of you!You know, it's rather easy for most people to gain weight, but very hard to lose even a few kilos. But, still if you think you're too skinny ( well, you've mentioned that you're underweight ), it's time to work on it seriously!Firstly, stop worrying and don't heed to the comments of others’ on your physical appearance, as worrying makes you even thinner and the efforts taken by you will go in vain. So start taking these steps cheerfully and with confidence :Get the right amount of night's sleepGet up early in the morning and go for a walk of about 20 minutes dailyHave a cup of full cream milk, before your workoutEat two bananas with another cup of milk, after workoutNever skip any mealHave a healthy breakfast, like bread butter jam, bread cheese sandwich, bread with peanut butter, or any regular south or north Indian foods like dosas, upma, aloo ka paratha etc. Strictly avoid too much oily or prossessed foodsMunch a few healthy nuts like almonds, cashews, pistachios etc well before the lunchtimeHave rotis or chappatis, rice, dal and cooked vegetables and a glass of fresh fruit juice for lunchHave some fruits, yogurt or again a glass of fruit juice without sugar, in the eveningConsume your dinner well before 8 pmAfter an hour, have a cup of warm milk and hit the bed at 10 pm!Good luck :)

I'm really depressed about my weight! UNDERweight problems?

I'm a sophomore in college, guy, 19 years old. I weigh around 145 lbs. I've always been underweight my entire life but only these past 2 years I've been starting to eat a little more. This is the most I've ever gained and honestly, just because I've been skinny and underweight all my life, I wanna be fat. But it's like I don't know what to do anymore. I just had mono for a week and a half and lost 5-10 pounds so now I'm more like 135-140 pounds. I'm aware I'm very skinny and underweight and when I go back to college, everyone says it looks like I got skinnier as if they just made a crazy discovery. They're just stating the obvious. My girlfriend is trying to help me and is constantly pushing me to eat but I have a very fast metabolism and whenever I eat, all I eat is chocolate bars or cookies and no real food. I don't know what to do anymore. I've never been anorexic or bulimic in my life. It's almost as if I just want to lock myself in my room and not come out because everyone I see in school and in the streets are all heavier than I am and it just makes me even more depressed that I'm very skinny. Can someone please help me out. I'm stressing over this and I'm not looking for an immediate change, but something that'll help. What foods should I eat to gain weight? It's a real serious question and I've been dealing with this my entire life. Please help me. I can't do this anymore.

Thanks
