Unexplainable Vivid Dream Mature Content

Has anything unexplainable happened to you?

I was seven years old when my parents took the family to Communist Russia during the 1970s. We lived there for six months while my father did mathematical research. Upon arrival at the airport, the suspicious Russian guards began thoroughly searching our seven suitcases, convinced that we were spies. Americans simply didn't go to Russia in the 70s! We of course we're not spies. However, my parents had packed one of the suitcases full of Bibles. It was highly illegal in Russia at that time and my parents could have received a very long prison sentence. But they wanted to get Bibles to the people of Russia, as they were not allowed to purchase them in their country. After searching the six suitcase without Bibles, they approached the seventh. I think my dad even told us that one guard’s hand was literally on the zipper of the suitcase with all the Bibles. Unexpectedly, one of the guards said something like "There is nothing but clothes in these suitcases. Let the Americans go. Besides, their poorly-behaved children are being too loud and rambunctious!” My father was fluent in Russian and translated for us.The shocking thing was that my brother, only five at the time, and I had been quietly standing there the entire time. We were exhausted from nearly 24 hours of flying, so we were hardly being loud. We hadn't said a word. There were no children around us either. Whatever the guards thought they heard or saw, it certainly wasn't reality and it saved my parents from decades in a Russian prison. I'm extremely skeptical about most things, but this incident has always reminded me that God is absolutely real!Months later, my father was hours away from handing over some of these Bibles to a Russian pastor at an underground secret church. But he suddenly felt like he shouldn't meet this man after all. The pastor turned out to be an undercover KGB agent, only discovered three years later as explained in a letter by a member of the church who befriended us. Yet again, protection from God. That will stick with me forever.

I keep having vivid dreams about sex. What does this mean?

You may want to repost this question in the sexuality section. You said 'vivid dreams', which are episodes clearly detailed, real to life and remembered. Is it then correct to assume these dreams are daytime fanasties of sexual exploits? Rather than what might normally occur during your sleep cycle overnight. If it is for sure in your night time slumber, your dreams may reflect a desire in your subconscious. If it is the daydreaming this obviously meaning you are inclined to have relations with someone. Since you also stated your tryists were short-term, unfulfilled. It isn't a guess these dreams illustrate sexual conquest or fulfillment.“A Hidden Public Health Hazard”My understanding the previous commenter gave you the green flag, for you not be ashamed of having your desires satisfied. Many in today's world are endorsing this fornicating freedom outside the martial arrangement. I am not in the right to advise you to abstain from having sexual relations out of wedlock. There are valid concerns to weigh out, including the consequences.People entretaining a warped view of sexuality may harm and cheapen their self-worth. Especally if they fornicate with persons who care nothing more than having a self-gratifying session at the cost of their partner. In marriage both individuals have a legal commitment to honorably consider and care for one another.Their intimate relations may help strengthen their marriage, enhance their true love and loyality to each other. As a young man you may wish to solidify your integrity, not break it down for the sake of pleasure. It is your choice how you wish to respond to these vivid dreams. Although you have the freedom to entertain such thoughts. You also have the privilege to reason and ponder the results in the long run.Supply to Your Knowledge Self-Control

Dreams about having sex with my cousin?

I don't believe it means you are sexually attracted to your cousin, because many people have unexplainable dreams where they kiss family members. While it doesn't mean you want your cousin in that way, it could mean you are afraid you are drifting from your boyfriend. Your subconscious could be telling you that you want to explore other people as well, and him breaking up with you in them, could be your fear of him catching you flirting with someone in reality. There could be some underlying trust issues that are showing up in your dreams. If you strongly believe this isn't the case, perhaps you just ate something strange before you went to bed those two times. That seems silly, but it's possible. I have disturbing dreams a lot if I have a cold. So, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

What is your most horrifying supernatural experience? (A real life incident)

When I was sixteen, as I lay sleeping on the couch with a pretty girl who happened to fall asleep in my arms, I suddenly opened my eyes and saw something impossible. It was past midnight. Pitch black. Blinds drawn closed to block out the street lights. Everyone in the apartment was asleep. One shadow, directly in front of me, felt different. It felt wrong. I couldn't put my finger on it. Then before my eyes, the shadow drew in on itself. I could see it suck in the shadows around it and become thicker somehow. It took on the shape of a man. And though the shadow-man made no sound, I could feel the scream building within me echoing its preternatural silent howl. The scream built up in me like a cooker. I felt the pressure build and build to bursting. I wanted to move, but the weight of this night terror upon my chest rendered me paralyzed–– a species of paralysis only experienced when humans come into contact with the supernatural. Finally, I croaked a sound, barely a whisper. Go away... I said.Still quiet, the shadow smiled. I could feel its formless, shapeless smile. It echoed like a subsonic wave in the walls of my pounding heart. Then the shadow stepped away into the night. And shadows were nothing but shadows once more.Since then, I have seen many dark things in the night–– always glimpsed in the shade of that membrane between waking and sleeping, in the twilight, witching and timeless hour under the realms of man and spirit.

How long do dreams last?

It seems like my dreams can last for days, weeks and sometimes even months, when im in the dream, but how long are we in the dream mode for? How can it feel like it lasts so long too?

Do you ever dream of places that you've never been or people that you've never met?

i have done that all the time! its kinda weird but intensely cool, it makes me think that our dreams are memories of a past life and the people we have known. and in some cases people we are destined to meet in the future but have not yet for some reason (our free will our unexplained last minute choices whatever) but since we have not yet crossed each others paths the fates put us together in the only way they can...our dreams.

you ever wonder if these same people are dreaming of you?

i bet (if you ever do meet these people or find this place) the day it happens you will just feel like your in a familiar place or with a familiar person but you wont be able to pin point it to your dreams...or maybe you will. these places had to come from somewhere right??? i have met people before that i just knew i had known before something about them whether it be a weird kind of smile a tone of voice something i just knew i knew it. it felt kinda like a karmic kick...very cool. i guess we are both deep in thoughts...LOL

try keeping a journal by your bed and write in specific details soon as you wake up because after about 2 minutes you will forget all those small details and try and find out if you do ever come across your dream people and places in this reality. but i do agree with the idea that there could be more happening then our minds are even ready to concieve.

What do sex dreams mean?

I disagree with Christina’s interpretation. Many answers in the dream section are taking things too literally and reading a lot of extraneous conscious thought into them. You have to understand how dreams work and think the way your subconscious thinks which is purely emotional and the specifics are chosen almost at random for their similarity in the emotions they evoke. That said you may just be horny, or depending on what sex means to you it could be something else. A virgin might view sex as a milestone, a coming of age, a rite of passage etc.. Or there could be fear associated with the concept of the sex act. Which would be completely different than for a prostitute for example who sees sex as drudgery or even a repulsive job she does for survival. For men sex is often very different thing than it is for women, and a sex dream could just be an outlet for a lot of pent up sexual feelings. This is one of the few things that can be completely literal in dreams. You want to have sex, you can’t have sex, so you dream about it. But sex for men is often tied in with his sense of security, social standing, self worth, virility and effectiveness in business.

What kind of dream did you have before you met your twin flame?

Well I wouldn’t say it was right before, but it was about 7 months prior to meeting them.I had this incredibly vivid dream where I was with this stranger. It was so lucid and real that it ended up blowing my mind. Throughout the whole dream there was this person. Whoever this person was, they were my « soulmate » (I actually said it out loud in the dream). Throughout, all I felt was pure love and joy but like all things it had to end. When I woke up, I was overwhelmed with emotion, I wanted to fall back asleep again, but to no avail. And then I just started crying. I thought I was ridiculous! I just knew there’s was something important about it. So, I decided to write everything about the dream in a journal. How they looked, how I felt, what happened after I woke up… and I ended up being grateful for that. Anyhow, I hit the internet and came across soulmate dreams which said that you could meet a soulmate in a dream before you meet them in the physical. It was one of the things that eventually led me to twin flames but not till a while later. That morning I told my two friends about it. Obsessing over the little aspects of the dream and I was like that well into the next week afterwards. Eventually I gave up throwing myself into it and just went on living my life. At the time I was with someone and it ended not long after, where I had decided to finally spend all my time working on myself. It was only 4 months later I saw my twin flame for the first time.At first it didn’t even occur to me that they looked like the person in the dream. All I was focused on was, ’who is this person?’ and ‘why are they already so familiar and important?’. (They weren’t familiar because of appearance) But I was mind blown after I realized it like ‘Is that actually them??!!’. It was an interesting experience, I think what surprised me was how the dreamed seemed less important, like I didn’t care if it was them or not, because I loved this person in front of me. But if it was, I’d say it was pretty incredible.

What does it mean when you have dreams that end up happening in real life, i.e., is deja vu a skill, something else, or nothing at all?

I have had this happen many time throughout my life. Most of which happened as a child. My first and one of the most recognizable times was when I lived in California. We had just moved to a new home in Hollywood and I had had a dream that my Dad and I walked to a park nearby. The next morning, I asked my Dad if we could go. I took his hand and led him to that same park from my dream. My Dad insisted that I had been there before so, I learned to not be so open about the weirdness of it all.Another time, I was older, about 11. I awoke from a dream that was kind of eerie to me because it seemed so real. I was at my nieces birthday party. Nothing out of the ordinary except that I did not spend much time with her so I dismissed it. A couple months later, I was invited to her birthday party. Nothing seemed strange until I was there and remembered my dream. I knew each gift she had before it was even being opened because of my dream.I’m not real sure what causes it, I am not a spiritual or religious person but, what if our time lines are not fixed, what if subconsciously we can float through our time lines and witness our lives through our future selves at any given point. Who knows really but, makes sense to me.

Can antibiotics cause extremely weird dreams?

Okay so last night I barely slept (or so it seemed) as I was dreaming for what felt like forever. I had a dream that my boyfriend's already deceased grandparents died and he was upset and I wanted to go to the funeral with him and he said no then he dumped me (random, eh?). I was upset obviously so I wanted to get back at him so I was looking for another guy. I was in my house and thirsty so I went to get a drink and I could see legs coming out of my fridge. I opened it and inside my fridge there was a guy sitting there and he looked just like Quasimoto (the hunchback of Notre Dame). I freaked out and he like attacked me and started kissing me. I was screaming and he dragged me from my house to the beach down the road and he was singing in a weird language. When we got to the beach there was a huge blow up killer whale toy and he was like "okay, get on, we go home now". I was screaming for help and all of a sudden my boyfriend showed up out of no where and he busted the killer whale and wrapped it around "Quasimoto" and left him on the beach. We went back to my place and he was like "Oh, by the way, I wasn't serious about of break up". And after that I woke up.

What the hell, right?
