What is a good name for a bakery shop?
My very favorite bakery is in Pt. Reyes Station, it’s called The Bovine Bakery. Catchy and cute. Their speciality are their morning buns. A lot of dairys in the area so the name is very apt.Another name I love is “The Rising Loafer” that is a bakery in Pleasanton, Ca.Honestly, from a marketing standpoint I would like to know something about you. Where do you live, where is your shop going to be located? What is going to be the focus of your bakery, what kind of things do YOU love, what are your passions? All of these things matter when choosing a name. It should mean something to YOU. Here are just a few off the top of my head without knowing anything about you and your business :). Is baking rotis or chapatis on a burner or stove directly harmful?
Baking chappatis directly in the charcoal /wood fire is a practice followed from ancient times itself. Nowadays we switched this practice to gas / stove. Studies suggest that baking chappatis and rotis directly in the stove is considered unhealthy. Because the food items are likely to get burned in this mode of cooking. Eating burned food items is harmful for our liver and intestines and can even lead to cancer. Also when cooked in the LPG fire , unburnt gases would be absorbed in the food .This is also very harmful.
Chili Recipe? Share some suggestions, please?
I use 3 types of chili powder (regular - alot of it; about 1/4 c) plus serrano and chipolte.... plus I use regular and smoky paprika. Sometimes I add beans; sometimes not:) If it's just for me and my husband, I use 1 lb. 96/4 ground sirloin; but if I'm making more, I'll add 1 lb. ground pork too.... lots of garlic & onions ... a few sprinkles of oregano ... fresh chopped cilantro on top. I don't serve it on rice or noodles (I live in Texas - that must be a Northern thing to do that) ... with homemade cornbread

Correction on Henry JinMission Tortilla does not supply great value brand... They are supplied by Ole/LaBadarita. Great value made by Ole is made in a different plant and taste much like cardboard. for a few more cents get Mission you wont be dissatisfied! Also in my area mid atlantic Great Value bread is brought in by Schmidt bread vendors. does anyone know if P&G make anything in the great value line?
