How can one feel the presence of god?
Start out with prayer. It boils down to mental perception. Prayer is a lot like meditation you examine your flaws and critically think about your experiences then present them internally both emotionally and mentally. No other creature on earth can do that. Just to give an example if you saw your crush sitting on a bench at your favorite park you have a choice as to whether or not you would like to approach them and initiate conversation. Before the event one could probably have a thousand scenarios going through their head as to how the situation will pan out. You won’t know until you keyword “willingly” have an interest as to examine and approach the situation and see where it may lead you and approach it with that mentality. That’s where your freedom of choice comes in.Also try reading the New Testament in the Bible. One should go in with the mentality of that they are interested and they have a curious desire to read it rather than going into it with the attitude of I don’t want to but I am going to. I guess the point is if you read it with an open mind then the experience of reading the bible is more understandable and relatable in varying aspects. My tip and this has helped me understand the purpose of the bible is to read the new testament first then go back and read the old testament. Though both are equally as important complementing one another the new testament addresses what being a christian is and what the overall purpose of the faith stands for. The cool thing that I learned at least in my experience reading the bible is that true religion boils down to faith. Faith in God and in humanity in general. Organized religion can be a positive tool in the right environment and circumstances but having personal faith in God internally and the importance of Jesus Christ is what true faith boils down to. In closing go in with an open mind, if you go in it with the mentality to criticize that is what you will find. If you go in with an open mind you will begin to understand Christianities point of view and how it ties into the world and everyday life.

Few days back, I received a call from an unknown number.Me: Hello. Who is this?He: Am I speaking to Sharvani?Me: Yes, I’m sharvani. Who are you?He: I’m X from Robert Bosch. I saw your profile on linked in. We have some openings in our company, if you are interested we shall continue the call.In my mind: OMG.. OMG..!! I’m on Cloud nine. I got a call from such a reputed MNC!Me: Yes, yes I’m interested.He: So, I saw your profile and I think you are working in Capgemini. Which technology are you working on?Me: I’m working on RPA.He: What is your current CTC?In my mind: right now its ABC, anyway next month I’ll be getting a hike so let me tell him my highest salary so that I can demand more than that from them.Me: Sir, it’s XYZ.In my mind: Wait, I will have to submit my last 3 months pay slip while joining the any new company, what if I don’t get increment next month?Me: Sir actually it is ABC now, next month its gonna be XYZ.He: But right now you said that your salary is XYZ, now you’re saying it’s ABC. Are you lying?I was scared, confused, embarrassed!Me: No, this month I will be getting increment so I said you the updated CTC.He: Where are you from?Me: Belgaum.He: Where in Belgaum?In my mind: Why would any HR wants to know where I stay in Belgaum? And I haven’t updated my profile on linkedin since a year, I’m neither looking out for any other jobs, how come suddenly I get a call from some HR of such a big MNC? I think someone is making a prank with me!Me: Who are you and why do you wanna know my place?He: I’m Chotu, your classmate, remember me?
