Usa Born People Only If Your Starting Your A.s In Accounting Question

US Green Card - Can an accountant get one?

I am accountant at a Big 4 firm in a small country. Is it possible to get a green card by working as an accountant in the US? Are US firms allowed to employ people from outside the US even if there are US citizens available for the job or are they penalized for it? If so, what are the chances of someone from outside the US being employed as an accountant?

I am not interested in the other ways of getting a green card except through a job in the US.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are People in Seattle Washington Racist?

Please no rude or racist comments. I just need some honest opinions.

I moved to Colorado 8 months ago and I do not like it. I am having a hard time finding a good quality job. I have a Masters in Accounting and I just passed all four parts of the CPA exam. I have been on several interviews, but to no avail. I am starting to think that my race is a problem. As far as conducting an interview, I am pretty good at that; I speak well and I am very articulate.

Two weeks ago I started looking at jobs in Seattle, WA. The quality jobs are 10 times better than Colorado's. I have even applied to a few, and to my surprise I got three phone interviews. My husband and I spent over $5,000 to move and settle in Colorado; it will cost about the same to move to Seattle. I don't want to spend all that money moving and end up hating it.

The main reason why I do not like Colorado is because I think people here are a bit racist and the quality of jobs suck! How are people's attitude towards blacks in Seattle? My aunt said that people there are pretty racist. I would like to get other opinions beside hers.

My aunt thinks I would do fairly well in the Virginia, DC area, which I am considering, but something is pulling me towards Seattle!

Why do chartered accountants in India keep their names as "CA firstname surname" on Facebook, especially most of the recently graduated ones?

I am a CA, and I found this question very interesting. So decided to answer this. Yes, your observation is correct but it's completely wrong that you only consider CA as a show off. ( maybe it's a backhand compliment.. Thanks.).It is only recently that through amendment in the CA Act, that CA's have been allowed to use this prefix. Earlier CA's weren't allowed. So you see now it is legal.I've seen and I know many others who also put similar titles before their names. Here are some examples -Engineers- Er.Architects- Ar. Or Arch.Doctors - DrAnd which of these puts in the kind of efforts or takes the kind of risk that a CA student takes? Pass percentages in CA are abysmally low. Though some can pass in four years, many take longer. I know someone whose been trying since eight years now, with full dedication. One of my dad's friend passed after his son's marriage! Then while others get degrees and go for jobs, CA students feel left behind. So why shouldn't they celebrate? There's also the advertisement angle, since CA 's aren't allowed to use advertising to solicit clients.PS- Now an interesting observation from Quora itself. Yesterday I came across a joke question, answer by a doctor. Not only was his name a Dr someone, but his picture was in surgical attire, with a green gown, gloves and face mask!PS - Who is Niharika Kapoor by the way. Are you jealous?

Is nationality based on which country you were born in or where your parents are from?

Whether or not your nationality is determined by the country you were born in (jus soli) or where your parents are from (jus sanguinis) depends entirely on the laws of the country or countries in question as well as your personal circumstances. Most countries I know have some form of jus sanguinis law, although some may be more restrictive. For example, you will only be considered a Bhutanese citizen if both of your parents are Bhutanese citizens (thereby disqualifying people born of mixed marriages), and you can only be considered a Kuwaiti citizen if your father is a Kuwaiti citizen. So a baby born to a Kuwaiti mother and a Bhutanese father would technically be stateless, unless they are born in a country with unrestricted jus soli laws. This brings us to a much smaller subset of countries - such as the US, Argentina, Mexico and Tanzania - that aside from jus sanguinis also operate on the concept of unrestricted jus soli. This means that any child born on US, Argentinian, Mexican or Tanzanian soil is considered a citizen of that country regardless of where their parents come from or their legal status.Of course, this leads to interesting situations where children can technically be born with 5 nationalities (or more) depending on the circumstances of their birth and heritage! A child born in the US to a mother with dual UK/Canadian citizenship and a father with German/Filipino citizenship could technically end up with passports from five countries: US, UK, Canada, Germany and the Philippines. This is actually not as strange an occurence as one might think.Whether or not some countries will acknowledge this dual nationality is another thing, however. Many countries do not recognise dual nationality and will revoke your citizenship should they find out.

If a person is born deaf, which language do they think in?

They don't and neither do you.It is incorrect to say you think in a language. The thoughts that you hear in your head are the thoughts you think you think. You think in symbols and then translate to a language, it simply goes on at a speed that is tens of thousands times faster than your awareness. You perceive in a language, which is to say, the conscious awareness of your thinking is in a language, the one you are using the most. Hearing people are probably more aural than visual and are hearing their thoughts as if spoken. People born deaf are visual and perceive their conscious thoughts in visual form, perhaps in their signed language, but both are actually thinking (the step prior to conscious awareness) sybolically.I have spoken to accountants who have spent several 20 hour days working on a new spreadsheet say that they “think” in “electronic spreadsheet.” the same is true of programmers who might temporarily be aware of their thoughts or dreams in a program language , the same is true of composers who might temporarily think in musical notes substituting for thoughts. Meditators and mathematicians frequently discuss their awareness of “thought” being symbolic, one thing substituting for another and conclusions made as if it were in a formula. The actual thinking is occurring in one's own personal symbology, and the awareness is expressed in a language. There are those few people who claim that they are aware of their thoughts but no language is used in thst awareness. And, there are synesthetes, that 4% of the population that hears colors or sees sounds. They most assuredly have the ability to do a very quick translation in order to communicate, because clearly their memory is fioed away in their personal language. So, persons who are born with absolutely no hearing, think no differently than the rest, they use a personal symbology just as everyone else, they merely use a different language overlay for their awareness of their thoughts than those who hear.

Why do people believe that myth that you can get rich by working hard?

Being rich isn't something you get to be, it's something you're born into. You can't just jump social classes, the one you were born in is the one you will remain the rest of your life. All rich people come from rich families.

So why do people believe that myth? Is it because they think they're so exceptional? No, they're not. People like to think that anyone can achieve wealth if they put their mind to it, but that's not the way it works.

At what age do most people die?

This question is covered by the first one below but the other two might be of interest too.LIFE EXPECTANCY: Life expectancy means the age you can expect to live to based on average life span of the population which is based on the age at which exactly 50% of the population of that specific age will have died, as an example this is currently 82.10 in Australia, 78.74 in the USA and 81.60 in the UK. Once you reach age 65 it gets quite interesting because your age means you have already survived a lot of risk factors earlier in your life e.g motorcycle accidents, fights, work accidents and other potentially risky behaviour, for example in the UK in 2017 a 65-year-old man can expect to live for 19.9 more years reaching almost 85, while a woman would typically have 20.5 years remaining meaning she will live past the age of 86. What is also noticeable over tghe last three decades is the narrowing of the gap between the sexes, between 1991 to 1993 and 2012 to 2014, girls born in 1991 to 1993 could expect to live 5.4 years longer than boys but by 2012 to 2014 the gap had narrowed to 3.7 years and is continuing to narrow.HEALTHSPAN: I define define this as the years in which you are free of frailty or age related disease or other chronic ailment. Currently this is on average around 68 in most first world countries.LIFE SPAN: Maximum life span means the greatest age reached by any person which is currently 122 by Jeanne Louise Calment who was a French supercentenarian who had the longest confirmed human lifespan on record, living to the age of 122 years, 164 days.

Your thoughts on reforming the US Healthcare system?

Seeing as to how Obamacare is heavily debated and let's be honest the GOP haven't put a viable alternative so what are your thoughts on some reform

What should be the main goal of health reform in the US, should it Decrease the cost of health care, Improve the quality of health care, Improve the access to health care or make most Americans receive at least basic free public care. What would it be like for the US if an Australian system like the Medicare service is implemented where all taxpayers pay a 1.5% income tax levy (with exceptions for low-income earners), an additional levy of 1% is imposed on high-income earners without private health insurance. There is also a private health system where people pay for health insurance to go to a private hospital if they wish for quicker service. Bankruptcies from lack of funds to pay for medical bills is the largest reason for personal bankruptcies in the US accounting for over 60 % of all bankruptcies, while in Australia it is almost negligible.
